I'm thinking Ball has pulled Gute away from the sundae bar and now they wait it out for a while before going "dumpster diving for depth". A couple of players on the vet min who could be reliable competent mainstays on ST wouldn't hurt. Assuming they keep Bulaga, they have Turner to play RG, and just need to figure out who is playing S with Amos (Josh Jones?) 21 of the starting 22 penciled in?

Claymaker could make a poor man's Sean Lee at ILB at this stage of his career. Blitz Claymaker up the A gap and Clark and Daniels get mano-a-man matchups.Originally posted by Deputy Nutz View PostI refuse to return to the fandom of the Green Bay Packers if they resign Clay Matthews. Everyone else besides Rodgers is gone, I can start mending bridges once those two dipshits are gone.
Claymaker is past his prime at the edge, but he still has high football IQ and some kung fu left, so transfer him to the Mike or Muck. Who the fuck cares that Claymaker likes to freelance? Claymaker makes plays. Hawk was a fucking robot - played the X and O's as drawn up. Hawk sucked.Last edited by Guest; 03-14-2019, 03:05 PM.

After some excellent looking moves by ourOriginally posted by Bretsky View PostIMO we got Devante Adams and a bunch of #3-#5 WR's.
The guy who looks like he could develop into a #2 in Scandling but I don't think he's ready yet.
Teams GM and in FA; a top priority is bolstering the Team Offense and acquiring solid at WR and TE.
The Green Bay Packers need a bonafide NO
1-2 WR
We certainly have need at the TE position.

This is my thought. Breeland lost out on his contract last year and hasn't show any reason to get it back yet. Offer him 3/18 or 1/6. Depends if he wants a bit more guaranteed or wants to play for a new deal.Originally posted by jklowan View PostTotal Cap Liabilities: $190,386,166- Top 51: $169,699,196

Still enough left for another player, draft picks, and our free agents - hopefully Breeland

Bell stayed injury free, got $5 million more than previous Steelers offer fully guaranteed.
When evaluating the value of a contract paid to a player who plays the short-shelf-life position of NFL tailback, the most important factor continues to be fully guaranteed money.
Multiple reports emerging today peg the full guarantee at only $25 million, with total cash flow through two years of $26 million.
The cash flow through the first two years trails the $33 million that reportedly would have been paid to Bell under the offer from the Steelers that he rejected last year. That’s prompting many to say the Steelers gave Bell a “better offer.” But here’s the thing to remember: That offer carried only $20 million in fully-guaranteed payments.

I am getting a sense of how John Dorsey attracts such good talent on draft day.
