  • Man, I would have loved to spend 44 and 76 to get Montez Sweat. I just 100% believe he is going to be a good player.

Washington is trading up to Indianapolis’ spot at No. 26.

There are no two franchises headed in different directions due to leadership than Wash (Allen) and Indy (Ballard).
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

        • Gutey put his stamp on this team the last two years. Very different Packer team, a lot of change in two years. Let’s see what Gutes guys do. I’m so excited for Savage. I had him pegged as my fav safety. He’s my fav over the last couple years. I love true free safeties because when you have one, and they only come once every few years, but when you have one, you can cover the deep middle with just one guy. That changes the game.

Well then why don't we just add up the first and second round picks?

I'm not heartbroken. I think the picks make sense. Gary went in the range he was projected. He makes a lot of sense in a Pettine defense. I really like Savage.

This seems a very Ted draft. Athletic lineman and fast safety.

The Prospect that Gutey might have selected Montez Sweat just went to Washington at pick NO. 26. That will be a watch for me.

                  • I got think there's value at WR on day 2. Take an athlete at TE and load up on big uglies.

                      NFL draft profile: Johnathan Abram
Johnathan Abram is a safety from Mississippi State that led the Bulldogs in tackles during his senior season.

                      Pre-Draft Analysis
Abram is an intimidating, hard-hitting safety with good size and speed. He takes sound angles filling in run support, has explosive closing burst and is a good tackler. He's capable of matching up with some detached tight ends and bigger receivers in the NFL.

                        • Just spent the last 45 minutes surfing and doing research on Rashan Gary trying to convince myself this was a good pick for the Packers, but unfortunately came away even more depressed. Bad pick by a bad GM. Should've stuck with Wolf.

                          • For the first time since we lost Collins, we can play single high safety with confidenc. Alexander and king can run down the sidelines and Savage can cover side to side from the middle. That opens up another player to blitz or do whatever.

Tramon is gonna make a hell of a slot player too. I’m so excited!

Gutey is certainly trying. He needs to address the OL next. Hope his WR's will pick it up this off Season.

                                NFL draft profile: Jerry Tillery
Jerry Tillery is a defensive lineman out of Notre Dame who garnered second-team All-American status from the Associated Press.

                                Pre-Draft Analysis
Tillery's production frequently fails to match his skill set, and his inconsistency is frustrating, but there's a lot to like about his upside. He's a well-built defensive tackle with excellent length and top-end speed. His vertical jump (32 inches) and short shuttle (4.33) results were outstanding, and those tests tend to correlate with defensive tackles succeeding in the NFL. He flashes as a pass-rusher and stacks blockers in the running game.
