    • Both picks today do not appear as needs, as far as I can tell. Safety definitely more of a priority than edge defense, but not an overt need.

      • I'm beginning think the Packers should just trade all of their 1st round picks for future 1st rounders, and stockpile them for when Rodgers retires.

We might have 6-10 first rounders by then.

The draft day threads are for overreactions so years down the road they can be bumped and several can be mocked ))
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Who is the second starting safety right now?
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I look at the Gary pick this year exactly the way I looked at the Burks pick last year... I knew the guy couldn't play.

I expect both Burks and Gary will be out of the NFL sooner rather than later - terrible picks.

Yea, I was questioning the Adrian Peterson pick because of his injury history.....lol

That's a quality pick. I had him as the 4th Ranked Safety but he's been moving up the board fast along with Juan Thornhill who I Ranked NO. 1. I had Nasir Adderly 2nd and Chauncey Gardner Ranked 3rd at Safety.

Darnell Savage's awesome 40 time (4.36) and his verticle (40 inches ) are impressive and he can play...he can cover and tackle well.

This is a good prospect for the Center fielder we needed.

It looks like measurables are important to Gutey.

I think safely was all about need. I think we have zero confidence in anybody at safety but Amos. THey needed a safety to plug in

Gary is about upside and potential I think combined with Need.

I can't imagine how he was the top graded player on their board based on his college performance combined with abiity

Too expensive to move up for Oliver or Allen. Simmons or Gary were both your risk Des so they picked one. DE was a top need and so was safety. At least on paper it looks like he nailed it - unless you don't like the players. But what else do you do? wait on Chauncy Gardner or Abrams?

Gary's game tape looks a whole lot better than Burks
