Tracking all the undrafted free agent signings made by the Green Bay Packers following the 2019 NFL draft: Player College Ht Wt
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

I looked them all up. Nothing special. Doesn’t seem like Gute is as good as Thompson was

I think it is a combination of GM and coach. Players and agents knew that MM would give URFAs fair opportunities in camp, and if they showed promise TT would keep them. There was a long-established track record. They weren't just camp fodder.

With a new coach and a GM without much history to go on, it is uncertain. I also read once that agents advise
URFAs going to teams with new head coaches, because the new staff will have to spend additional practice reps getting to know their veterans, installing new systems, etc.; and the free agents might not have a lot of opportunities.

It did make us a popular choice for UDFAs, which helped us get the pick of the litter. Doesn't always mean we got the cream of the crop. A lot of it is sheer luck.

Would like to see them bring in Stanley Morgan or Penny Hart to push for a slot WR spot. Both are decent route runners with good speed.
Also think that if Spriggs & Turner are the backup tackles they are pushing their luck...although they won't find a Year 1 backup LT on the street.

One site's rankings. take with appropriate grains of salt.
The 2019 NFL Draft is officially in the books, with 254 players hearing their names called. But for those who weren't selected, there's still hope to make an NFL roster. Gil Brandt goes position-by-position and ranks the best undrafted rookie free agents

Yosh Nijman, OT, Virginia Tech has a chance to make the team, if not he's a lock for the PS.

I'm still waiting for them to bring in somebody to replace Crosby, Tracy of L.S.U. at the top of the list. Surprisingly, he wasn't on that list in run pMc's post. However, I Googled him, and there is an article that he is trying out with the Packers and Saints. In addition, another of the top Kickers, Thompson Myers-Spencer, is from St. Norbert College - right in the back yard.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?
