Ted Thompson seems like an awesome dude. I’m really happy to see him in the HOF, and boy he put together a couple great teams and one of the more consistent winners in NFL history.

People online are complaining about HoF QB and 1 Super Bowl. And they love Ron Wolf.
These people also bought the dealer supplied undercoating last month.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Good question, should Ron Wolfe be in the HOFOriginally posted by pbmax View PostPeople online are complaining about HoF QB and 1 Super Bowl. And they love Ron Wolf.

Both GMs delivered 1 Super Bowl, and both underachieved with a HOF QB for the rest of their reigns
I think that as with most HOFs (looking at you rock and roll hall), the bar is pretty damn low to get it. They need to fill a class every year no matter the talent level
Why are gms even in the HOF? Seems like all you have to do is win one SB to get in

Do the Cleveland Browns have a HOF?
If Dorsey wins one Superbowl, will he make the Browns HOF and have a street named after him?
You're damn right he will.

I wasn't aware of much Ron Wolf hate. Other than he let Holmgren walk because M1 wanted to be GM and coach and then he retired and made M2 GM and Coach.Originally posted by JustinHarrell View PostI think Ted Thompson hate or Ron wolf hate or most hate is usually some form of repressed self hatred for ones own perceived shortcomings, coming out sidewaysThe only time success comes before work is in the dictionary -- Vince Lombardi

Effectively GMed 2 seperate franchises to a superbowl back to back. How many guys did that?Originally posted by MadScientist View PostTT easily qualifies for the Packers HOF. His resume is a bit light for the NFL HOF.The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary -- Vince Lombardi

I think TT's legacy goes well beyond the one Super Bowl. His teams were also in, what, 3 other Conference Championship games? I think TT's record of 9 playoff appearances, 1 SB win and 3 Conference Championship game losses compares favorably to Wolf's 6 playoff appearances, 1 SB win, 1 SB loss and 1 Conference Championship loss.
Yes, I wish TT had been able to assemble consistently better rosters on defense, but when I look at their playoff losses during TT's time I see a lot of unfortunate happenings and questionable coaching performances. I feel teams should have gone farther even with whatever shortcomings existed in the rosters. Good GM performances get teams in the hunt, good coaching performances take them over the top. TT consistently got the Packers in the hunt.

Very well deserved honor. I am disappointed more current Packers didn't show up and show some respect. It seems like the entire current team should be at this every year, no? Good on Jordy for making the trek to show up.
I mean, c'mon, Aaron, you can't skip drinking with your buddies at the derby to show some respect to your GM? Brett I sorta get due to everything that went down.

How soon we forget the calls for TT's head on a platter.
Now it sounds like your forming for a parade. Will Ishmael act as the Drum Major?
GB is free to honor their mailman if they so choose. It's a management decision as I see it anyway. I never saw where they ran a fan poll about it. Just don't place Ted next to Brett in the Packers HOF.sigpic
