  • Pack D played pretty darn well! Missed two turnovers but only let up 3 on extremely short field.

it would work if all the coverage guys just leave the ball there and turn and walk towards the sideline. then it would work to pick it up and run

Are you saying the returner can pick the ball up, run 5 yards, fumble it, and even if the kicking team recovers, the ball reverts back to the receiving team? I was under the impression that you can only not muff the punt, but once you gain possession of the ball, you can still fumble it like normal.

like i said earlier, its tough to say. they looked good, but the bears offense sucks

chicken or the egg at this point

what we do know, is the D doesn't suck against a bad offense

Agreed. Bears D is great, their offense not so much.

yep, goes back to the spot of the original touch by the covering team.

                • They should start with Gayle Sayers, my favorite back of all time.

Once kicking team touches the ball, the receiving team can always choose to take the ball at that spot no matter what happens after.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

yeah, it was a terrible deal

but i guess when you quit on your last team, and no one else really wants you, you gotta take what you can get
