    • Browns leading by 20 with ball 2 minutes left and they are throwing with Mayfield.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Stupid of course. But It’s like they need all the snaps they can get. Their offense looks awful. Jets played a lot of dime and Baker can’t find the open guy before their poor O line yields pressure.

        • Kitchen gets his first win and only Burnett shakes his hand. That team ain’t right.

Willaims can build confusing pressures. Maybe his coverage has gotten confusing as well. Except for letting OBJ get a free release against a safety-ILB short zone.

            89 yard TD

            • NFL NextGen player trackers on OBJ's 89 yard TD. Watch the safety, #20, 21 yards off the ball at the snap.

              • How far has MNF fallen that we have the announcers we have? Some of the points they made were ridiculous and made no sense. They kept harping on how when the 3rd string QB for the Jets came in how it jolted the team alive and gave them a spark. I think Booger even said something like "he ignites the team cause they know he knows this offense." And the 2nd string guy who practiced all week didn't? The team was flat for the 2nd string QB?

Not to mention, the spark they were talking about was 4 or 5 straight run plays which any QB in the league can handle, and is exactly what you would expect a 3rd string QB be called upon to do for his first drive. It's not like he came in the game and was slinging passes around and throwing dimes for TDs.

                • I agree to a degree with channtheman. I miss Pat Summerall, Curt Gowdy, Frank Gifford, and others. As for the current crop, Tony Romo gets my #1 vote. Al Michaels is very professional, but Cris Collinsworth dampens the broadcast.

I've liked it in the past when celebrities would visit the broadcast booth (on the air). It would be great if Tom Hanks or Kevin Costner or Darell "the rock" Johnson would visit a prime Sunday late game broadcast booth. No politicians, preachers, or convicted criminals would be appreciated. Beauty Pageant Winners? Hell Yeah !!!

                  • ICYMI - Chubb called for roughing the QB late in the Chicago game. Probably enabled win.

That was an awful call. Plus, I'm not a fan of the instantaneous timeout.

If Chuck Bednarik had made that final tackle, the game would have ended right there.

That was a bad bad bad call and cost them the game.

Terrible call, but they still were in a position to win the game. A few seconds later, all Broncos had to do was stop the Bears on 4th and 15 and couldn't do it. The call kept the Bears alive, but didn't hand them the game.

There's also the question of whether this was a horrible call or a horrible rule.

                            https://operations.nfl.com/the-rules...ng-the-passer/

When tackling a passer who is in a defenseless posture (e.g., during or just after throwing a pass), a defensive player must not unnecessarily or violently throw him down or land on top of him with all or most of the defender’s weight. Instead, the defensive player must strive to wrap up the passer with the defensive player’s arms and not land on the passer with all or most of his body weight.

                            • It’s a judgment call. But I don’t think the defender put all or most of his weight. Also got a generous TO at the end.

                              • I’m a Gardner Minshew fan. Matt Flynn had a weak arm but was real savvy. Minshew has an average arm and is real savvy. I can see him playing for a long time.
