A good lesson in why escalation is a bad idea.

Pouncey should be suspended for the year too even if I doubt the player noticed him.

This has to be about as bad as it gets from the NFL's perspective. They have 2 items on their safety agenda. Protect quarterbacks, and reduce concussions. So ripping off a QB's helmet and hitting him over the head with it is pretty incredible. That said, Rudolf was not an innocent victim here. There could be discipline against him too.
