MVS is a deep ball specialist. He’s not a guy who’s gonna consistently get 10 yards. He’s gonna have 1 or 2 big ones every game and his deep routes open everyone else up. He’s made better when Adams is here. Just let it go, people.
Sproles was one of best roll players ever. MVS couldn’t hold his jock at this point. I hope MVS has a career that matches Sproles.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

    • Is Lazard the 2nd best receiver?

Hopefully Lazarus develops enough to move into the #2 spot for the rest of the year, and MVS comes in to run 7s, 8s, and 9s.

Shadow, you've been here too long to believe we will let it end
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

We’re not exactly world beaters on defense, either.

We have Jones, Adams, and a whole bunch of average or below-average at the skill positions. Their skill position players are better. WR, they’re better by a whole lot. TE, they’re better by worlds. RB, we have an edge. Our biggest advantage is QB and if Mahomes played, it would be pretty close. They can defend us at full strength better than we could defend them. I think they have the better team.

Still haven't seen him run an inbreaking route, but the kid catches balls and gets yards. What a load he is too tackle.

I think they'll end up mixing and matching all year. The chess game will be not letting the defenses know what they're running when guys come on the field. When receivers are limited in patterns, tendencies are pretty easy to figure out.

                    • Admittedly thin slicing, #12 likes Lazarus.

Lazarus has a swagger I like. On that catch in the flat he drilled the corner and knocked him on his ass.

                        He’s my favorite non-Adams WR.

And LaFleur takes RBs and makes them WRs.

You think that may be because we don’t really have any WRs now?

Both are looking for mismatches on routes. You put Monty in the backfield, odds go up he's matched on a LB.

Absolutely. We can’t win the match ups with our present WRs.
