not hard to figure out why. he's playing further back per the soft scheme and the DT's (as a group) are lacking.

Last year Clark and Daniels, until they got hurt, created a lot of havoc inside. Martinez benefited from that. Not nearly as much of that this year. Lancaster is JAG, and Lowry has been a disappointment.

Packers activate Ibraheim Campbell, cut LB Tim Williams. https://packerswire.usatoday.com/201...-tim-williams/

Liked the way he played last year.

Packers now down to 3 Williams'

Shutting down an offense with a singular weapon is most possible. History has seen teams (including GB) silence carrier prime players in their tracks. The Vikings/Peterson, the Lion/Sanders, the Rams/Dickerson were all put out of business with a planned defense focused to stop them. The remainder were handled easily.

The key to a GB victory vs Carolina lies with stopping Christian McCaffrey. The Panthers Newtonless offense relies too heavily on McCaffery. This type of situation is not a new one and can be successfully dealt with.

On the other side of the football, I say hold to a steady course with a balanced run/pass offense. Allowing 1 or 2 less than pretty offensive efforts to force drastic changes is panic thinking. Identify your mistakes, work on them, and keep on trucking. Adams return at WR and Aaron Jones temp injury only brightens the spotlight on GB's 2019 season of adapting and overcoming setbacks. I want Jones to return strong, but if he can't then Williams and Vitale and Dexter Williams will need to step up and I believe that they can. RUN THE ROCK.

Professionals, like the Packers, put a loss behind them and move on, but at the same time they learn from their past and move forward a better team. Better to discover and correct weaknesses now, rather than see them show up in the playoffs.

What the hell is up with Memphis? That's an odd little island of blue.

Lafleur sounds fired up and dialed in. Panthers are a good team, especially McCaffrey, who’s the best player in the league imo. I expect the Packers to play well though and I think that loss will prove to be a good one.

Sounds like being "Hawkish on Blake"

Martinez is a major liabilty in the middle of the D. He is slow to read, even slower to react and runs worse than Jimmy Graham on a curl route. To think he wants to be paid like the top MLB's in the NFL.

Amos has a hamstring. Graham and Tramon get a day of rest.
