So I was on the road and didn't hear anything after Crosby missed the field goal in the 3rd quarter with the score 14-3. How'd they come back?

Dominated 3rd quarter even though they just scored 7. Lions possessed the ball for 3:35 in the 3rd.

Second half possessions were 38 yards, 95, 51, 0(!), 40, 4 (INT drive) and 68. Were in scoring range 5 times and without penalties, might have been six.

First half drives were 2, 17, 9, 17,76.

13 run plays, 18 passes in first half. 27 rushes in second half, 38 passes. So it wasn't balance, but they didn't give up. In fact, ran some two TE in second half.

Short passing game finally started to work basically. And the two longer balls that connected went for TDs. Pass pro was huge. Patrick and Veldheer should have gotten game balls.

Best part of two late scoring drives was rollouts (design maybe but one at least was pressure). Rodgers finally threw some darts when he was moving.

rodgers was horrible. the run D, that's been good of late, was bad. only when they went small ball did they get anything done. passing D, aaron jones, and crosby, won the day. they look like an 8-8 team but only when you see the standings can you believe they're 13-3. it's a complete mystery.

It's not really such a mystery. They are #4 in turnover differential. 9 of the top 10 teams in turnover differential will be in the playoffs.

I believe they are also in the top 10 in red zone effiiency, both offensively and defensively. That is how you win close games.
