It's not unexpected that one or more trolls whose real team/life are going sour. Hit the ignore if the post get too personal, argue with a fool if you must, but I prefer it when a troll gets laughed at instead of accomplishing their goal to upset the members.

I don't believe this at all. I like your views on fear and how to control people with it! That seems obvious to me. But the entertainment of football is the competition. They dont have to make a fake competition.

It feels awfully conspiracy oriented with the refs though. But my theory is the refs are occasionally given random changes in emphasis where we get upset becaude the rules change. But it's really a way of reinforcing fear of punishment on a mass audience and also teaching blind obedience. The refs decide the penalties and we have to accept them. It's conditioning to accept a bullshit society whether we like it or not.

So do I smell a conspiracy with the refs.... Absolutely. Do I think it has anything to do with fake competition? Nope. The audience comes for real competition. That is the entertainment.
