Not with a Michael Thomas lined up against X tomorrow. He might get 20 catches.

Vrabel’s decision was mathematically stupid. It was only a 1 point game, not a 33-0 lead. Plenty of time left for NE. The 1:36 Vrabel wasted could’ve came back to bite the Oliers, or whatever they are now, in the ass.

Sure, the GOAT and his offense were struggling. Still, the GOAT is the GOAT. What if NE kicked the game winner as time ran out? Vrabel would be regretting the decision to milk the clock.

      • That damn phony GOAT you keep propping up was exposed. He has been so great for so long primarily because of great O Line blocking. That has dropped off to only good this season, and damn Brady has gotten a lot worse. His team always made Brady great, in our real GOAT who has always made the team better. For Rodgers' whole career, even this season, the Packers would have fallen through the floor without Rodgers. The Patriots, on the other hand, would have been damn good without Brady.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Time for that Buddy Ryan defense where you just commit penalty after penalty, get to half the distance to the goal line and let the limit of 1/2 the distance (x) let you approach, but never get to, the goal line.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

It did seem like inviting disaster. But in a 14-13 game, the odds are a bit more in favor of the clock killing approach. Patriots had been slowing down, not speeding up.

Surprised Hoody Jr. couldn't devise an answer.

Let the record show the #Patriots gave up a 2nd-round pick for 218 yards of Mohamed Sanu (in 8 games, playoffs included). That's how they addressed their offensive problems.

                No.

Vrabel had confidence in his defense, which was rewarded.

Plus he turned the tables on Hoody and got into Hoody's head.

9 AFC championship rings. 6 Super Bowl rings. 3 MVPs. Not bad for a 6th rounder whom Fritz once called the Jim Sorgi of Michigan.

Rodgers' kung fu (skillset) is arguably supreme to any other QB in professional futbol history. But his fluke ring ain't no match for Brady's 6. TB12 is the GOAT - any argument stating otherwise is fraudulent.

The All-Caucasiod OL composing of Bak, Sitton, Linsley, Lang and Bulaga was excellen. Plus, Rodgers threw to some pretty excellent WRs in Jennings, Driver, Cobb, Nelson, Jones, J-Mike, etc. I realize that Rodgers doesn't play defense, nor is he a GM. But Brady ain't such and such either.

If Brooks Bollinger was quarterbacking the Pats, sure. But with the GOAT, the math says every second counts. Getting the rock back after a NE TD with 1:36 left is better than getting it back with 20 seconds.

I was boycotting the NFL, and therefore, didn't catch the game. But what's even more surprising is, Belichick didn't go for it on 4th down after the Oilers milked clock/punted.

Even if the Pats don't convert, the field position forces Oilers into FG mode. Get ball back down 4 with plenty of time for a GOAT TD is more hip than getting ball back at the 1 with 20 seconds left down 1.

Eli Manning has 2 rings. No reason Rodgers can't match that. It's a fluke til Rodgers wins another one.

Should be noted: Todd was the biggest reason Rodgers has not won more than a fluke.
