Not rebuilding. But it makes it clear they think the answers are on the roster.Originally posted by esoxx View PostSo not only did they not give Rodgers top notch help at WR again, they picked the guy that will be looking to take his job at some point.
I suppose though, after that complete ass kicking in the NFC Championship Game, they figure best to go in to rebuild mode.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

He'll sit on the bench for at least 2 years. Free agency got us an ILB and an OT, I fully expect we'll draft a WR in the 2nd.Originally posted by esoxx View PostSo not only did they not give Rodgers top notch help at WR again, they picked the guy that will be looking to take his job at some point.

"Terrible move by the Packers. Aaron Rodgers told me last summer he wants to play until he's 40. They needed a receiver. They needed defensive help. Sitting behind Rodgers will do Love well, but not going to do the Packers well. You're on the cusp of getting to a Super Bowl, get Rodgers some help. (Pete Prisco)"

They can’t get rid of him. They aren’t prepped like Ted was for cap hit.Originally posted by red View Postmaybe the new coach and GM see that rodgers is no longer coachable and has been phoning it in?
Thought they could but cap hit this year is north of $25 milBud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Probably worried about the teams at the top of the second round trading up. I'm not enamored. Love better be the heir apparent, and a good one. If they go from Favre to Rodgers to a Pro Bowl caliber QB, they'll look like genuises. Otherwise, wasted pick. We'll see. It will be a long time before we know if this was the right move. Just like the Rodgers move. Love was not good in 2019, but he basically lost every starter on offense. He went from 33 TDs-6 ints in 2018 to 20 TDs-17 ints in 2019.Originally posted by Bretsky View PostOK, so you had Miami who picked the Oregon QB already
Then Seattle who had Russell Wilson
Then Baltimore who had Jackson
Then Tennessee who just paid Tannehill and lost their stud OT
Is there a reason to give away a 4th round draft pick ?"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson
