It's all Ted's fault....lol..........Originally posted by Rastak View PostBlaming Ted?
BTW, IMO..........GREAT JOB BY THE VIKINGS AND 49ers TONIGHT. Vikes get their WR and pick up a few more picks. Niners just keep making good movesTERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. True, but he better be GB's equivalent to Lamar Jackson and not Deshone Kizer.Originally posted by mraynrand View PostThis is one of your worst takes. Packers being proactive about the QB position is what makes them the exact opposite of what Cleveland’s been doing for 20 years.
Let's get some homer posts in here:
With Aaron Rodgers on the back nine of his career, the Packers wisely select a young quarterback to groom as his successor. Love is not a finished product at this stage of his career but spending a few seasons working on his craft in the shadows of the two-time MVP could serve him well when he takes over down the road."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

I know I will be lashed out at and considered a troll but just relaying what I see.....

Sources close to #Packers QB Aaron Rodgers say he is "beside himself" about the team's decision to draft a QB in the 1st round. "Aaron feels betrayed, he was told by management they would get him some weapons to throw to."
Trouble brewing in Packerland.

No kidding. It’s like people forgot how quickly a 35+ year old QB’s career can end. Or how absolute awful the Packers looked with excrement at the back up QB position the last several years.Originally posted by Deputy Nutz View PostBoy, people are over exaggerating
And maybe also didn’t notice, but Rodgers isn’t exactly getting better."Never, never ever support a punk like mraynrand. Rather be as I am and feel real sympathy for his sickness." - Woodbuck

Rodgers sounds entitled--like Favre at the end of his career.
Pre-Draft Analysis
Love has good size, a strong arm, above-average mobility and big hands. His touchdown-to-interception went from 32-to-6 in 2018 to 20-to-17 in 2019, and his overall decision-making needs to be more consistent. He throws off platform as well as anyone in this class, he can adjust his release point to avoid pressure and he shows excellent touch. -- Steve Muench"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

Nope. We were a team that is a few players away from a Super Bowl. We have a Franchise QB locked up with guaranteed $ for 4 years. Love is very questionable and no slam dunk by any means. He is kind a head case and already has had some legal issues. This is not the guy. I think he is gonna bust.Originally posted by mraynrand View PostThis is one of your worst takes. Did you not see what the Niners did today? They understand “the window”. They went and got two potential “game changers” and basically put on a clinic.
We traded up for QB that had a down year at Utah State with major question marks. It’s not like Joe Burrow dropped to us so this isn’t anything like when Rodgers dropped to us years ago. This is ridiculous.
Love is not gonna be the 3rd hof QB in a row. Let’s see what he can do throwing to these bums besides Adams. It’s just sad.

It isn't so much that Gute is throwing in the towel for Rodgers final years - it's the combination of that along with the pick itself, i.e. Love's tape does not look good at all.
They just drafted him on pure speculation... b/c to date - he's not been very good.
The kid threw 17 picks last year!! Yikes, is the word that comes to mind.wist
