  • Division win on the road to open the season against our arch-rival.

The score not representative of what the game was really like.

    160 yards on the ground.

    #12 looks sharp.

    Defense made some nice plays.

Other than to troll, why would anyone complain?

      Chewed up on what?

Wagner not being able to start over Patrick and not getting in the game until he was the last body standing to throw in there?

Your big top 5 defense that got waxed?

Or inconsistent receiver play outside of Adams?

This is the same old show which is “The Aaron Rodgers Show” and a blind front office that can’t put the right talent around him.

It's always nice when an early lead takes the crowd out of the game!

Taylor’s looked significant and I’d imagine season ending. Clark was groin so probably at least a few weeks. Not sure on Patrick.

            • ON the BRIGHTER SIDE

Rashan Gary had...................one Tackle...........which is probably an improvement over his average game last year.

But more importantly, he made our offense and everybody better )))
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Yeah, could you imagine Aaron Rodgers with all those weapons?

                Talk about “Record Breaking”

That is a very good game, but rather than admit you were wrong you double down and find fault in a great performance. Typical loser speak.
You act like he Is some rookie or something. That’s just not good enough anymore!!!!

He is gonna cost us at some point with that crap!!!

Cousins looked better than I’ve ever seen him. The Packers defense played well. That offense is gonna chew teams up.

I’ll take my lumps for that one! But he’s gotta chance still!

                      • Pettine holding true to the shot he called that he was gonna lean on the secondary more. I don’t remember a time last year where savage had a guy in the slot with no one over the top. He did today. And failed. He had one main job, to keep theilen in front of him, and failed miserably. Kids gonna have to learn quick cuz that shit will cost games if the offense isn’t on their A game.

                        • Deguara had a huge rookie blunder too. Ran a wheel route against a linebacker with nothing but grass in front of him and he slow ran it like he was expecting a back shoulder. Rodgers wanted him to go to the Open grass not pussy foot. Rookies get you beat .

The bigger concern moving forward is no Kenny Clark.

                            • I can't fully enjoy watching the game if I type during the game, but I just finished wading through all 11 pages of posts. A few thoughts:

APB, I was wondering about #51 too. Kryss Barnes on the roster in Google was listed as "released" but with the new Practice Squad rules, he got activated from PS for the game. I didn't see anything of Burks, so maybe he replaced him.

I will be interested to see how the Vikings D does against other teams - whether they really suck as much as the Packers made it seem today, or if the Packers O did that against a decent quality D.

It's gonna hurt if we go very long without Clark. Groin injuries, though, I don't think are that serious. I think they sometimes keep coming back, though. Hopefully having Daylan Mack stopping runs in the middle will help. I have zero faith in the Northwestern nothings, Lowery and Lancaster. It seemed like after the Clark injury, they had to play a lot with an extra man in the box and Savage as a single deep Safety.

Savage didn't seem to have a very good game. Also, Kirksey to me seemed like a major disappointment. Kevin King was good? I really didn't see it - just ok at best.

No comments the whole 11 pages about how they surprisingly put Jenkins at RT and Lucas Patrick at LG (the stupid sideline commentatress said Patrick Lucas hahahaha). I hate to see Patrick get hurt, but I like it a helluva lot better with Jenkins inside at LG as it was after Patrick's injury. Either Wagner played all right, or else the Packers just did fine without much help from him. Ditto that from Runyon. Lane Taylor didn't seem to do much even before going out injured.

I was pissed off about LaFleur's red zone calls early in the game. However, down the stretch, I was thankful we didn't still have Mike McCarthy and his style. If they had taken the foot off the gas like in the McCarthy era, they might have let the Vikings back into the game.

Pettine too has some work to do. They played fine most of the time, but when we pulled away a little bit, they got sloppy and let the Vikings do what they couldn't do under most circumstances. That should be fixable, though.

No "studs and duds" thread yet?
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?
