  • Official Packers/Falcons Week 4 Discussion Thread

Falcons champions of the 4th quarter collapse. Worse, they have the league's 2nd worst passing defense going up against Aaron Rodgers. Falcons can be dangerous though if they get Julio Jones back.

They're better than their record. Ryan always has been and still is a good QB, and they have Gurley, who is still a decent RB. Their D has gotten worse, though.

Hopefully we don't need them to collapse. Pack has not gotten behind much so far through 3 weeks, not even to a superior roster and team that is a serious contender like the Saints. I guess we have just been dumb lucky so far.

Pretty sure Grady Jarrett is out. He might be their best player. If Clark and Adams are back we have a huge edge, even with Julio.

            I was thinking the same.

Playing in empty stadiums I think there are a lot of trap games.

It's Monday night. The crowd will be the big difference maker here.

Which leads to my question: when I watch a game, I hear crowd noise. Clearly, that's for us fans. But do they play that same noise in the stadiums? So the players at least hear something other than "Blue 19! Blue 19!"?

Atlanta's defense is right there with Seattle's as the worst in the NFL. I mean they have Demontae Kazee at Safety. They will probably have Juilo back. Dan Quinn getting fired and on his way out.

I'm gonna take it but i'm gonna take it @ -6.

Players hear noise, but not the same fan noise you hear on your TV.

At least to start its 2020 season, the NFL is doing both. Those inside the stadium will hear a steady stream of fake crowd noise from the public address system, and those watching on TV will hear a different feed of fake crowd noise on the broadcast.

It's gotta' be a surreal experience for the players.

Looks like no Kirksey for a while.

According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, Kirksey’s shoulder injury is likely to keep him out of next week’s game against the Atlanta Falcons and he’s not guaranteed to be ready coming out of the Packers’ Week 5 bye.

Kirksey left Sunday night’s win over the New Orleans Saints with an undisclosed shoulder issue. He played 17 snaps in the first half before departing.

The Packers played Ty Summers, Krys Barnes and Oren Burks at inside linebacker with Kirksey out of the game.

Through three games, Kirksey leads the Packers with 27 total tackles.

Pack lulls the opponent to sleep with its inferior receiving corps. Then Rodgers elevates receivers game. Deadly 1-2.
