I wouldn't bet on that. Spent all of last year on PS so he knows the offense. Beat the odds to make the team this year. Unlike Shepherd, he has the size to be effective blocking.

The shear volume of injuries throughout the league this year as crazy. I guess camp and preseason games are needed.

J’mon Moore and Trevor Davis are available packer draftees in last 4 years.

I'd take Trevor Davis over Tyler Ervin as a returner and WR. The only thing lacking is ability to play RB, and we have plenty of them.

I would love to bring Clay back to play ILB. He isn't the guy he was, but I bet he still plays serviceable at that position.

Moore never showed a thing. Davis would be interesting, but I think Ervin is filling the Davis role. Someone said Kumerow and that would be the appropriate replacement. Similar game. Similar size. Older with less upside, but as a stopgap he might be the best solution.

Injury report gonna be Interesting this week. Clark and Adams are difference makers. Pretty sure Grady Jarrett is out and a bunch of secondary players. Packers ball control offense limits opposing teams opportunities. And the no.turnover thing makes teams have to be perfect. Even in a shootout, I like the packers chances

Lafleur coaching g the he'll out of ball security this week. Lions and falcons love to get the ball. Rodgers owns his ball security but the rest of the guys need to be 100. Minus turnover or.penalty destruction, I.don't see Atlanta keeping up

Ervin > Davis. Moore is probably out of the league. Kumerow is a maybe. MVS is not an efficient receiver, but he can pressure defenses with his deep speed. That should help keep things open underneath.
I expect a lot of passes to the TEs and RBs in this one. GB can borrow from NO's plan to throw to the RB and let them go to work.
Having Adams back would be extremely helpful but I think they'll be careful with him and give him this week and the bye to get back to 100%.

The other thought is this is the game where we see 40 rushing attempts, including 8 from Dillon. The defense will need to step up too.

You can be small and be a good blocker (see Hines Ward). Shepherd had to block a lot at NDSU, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's at least adequate at it.

Green Bay Packers rookie quarterback Jordan Love was the lone addition to the team’s injury report on Friday.

Love didn’t practice on Friday due to an unspecified illness. The Packers didn’t place him on the COVID-19 reserve list according to Friday’s transaction wire, so the illness could be unrelated.

How is Ervin better than Davis? While in Green Bay, Davis showed a lot more breakaway speed on returns, and he looked great at times catching passes (even though it was just preseason, I think). Ervin can run from scrimmage, which Davis never did, except maybe end arounds. We have a lot of other quality RBs, though.

This argument is probably moot, as the team probably is satisfied with Ervin and not considering Davis, but personally, I like Davis better.

You're remembering the 2017 Davis. He hurt his hamstring in 2018. He's been signed and released by 3 teams in the last year.

Without Adams and Clark I give us about a 50/50

                                Just Clark 70/30
                                Just Adams 80/20

                                Both back 95/5
