If Julio gets a 6 year healthy run of 1200 yard seasons, hed be three more 1000 yard seasons away from rice.

Absence of 18 game seasons with two bye weeks, that one might be untouchable

Davis is super talented, makes occasional spectacular play (usually a punt return) only to follow up with a bonehead play like a muffed punt, or a case of alligator arms on a throw from Rodgers. Ervin technically ran the 40 faster and is a more consistent player. He's also a better fit for MLF's offense and likely explains why Davis was traded last year even though the WR room wasn't exactly stocked.

I had my hopes Davis would turn out. He obviously didn't, or else you'd think 1 of the 3 teams he played for last season would've signed him. It's telling that he's still on the street while Ervin is running jet sweeps and returning kicks.

That said, I think Ervin is replacement level. He's certainly not a starter. They can probably find someone to do what he does, but I think they like his positional flexibility as PR/RB/WR and how they can use him in the offense.

Teams around the league falling apart with injury, and we’re about to be there too of some of these turn into season Enders.

        Short off season
        Abrupt ramp up to season
        No schedule breaks
        Injuries....

It’s not bad yet.... guys almost in football shape, just need a week off to recover and start the season after the bye healthy. Leave everyone out. Probably Drop one. Plan for the long haul cuz most teams gonna keep losing guys with no bye week to get right

If Julio and Ridley play, this is a much different game. Well, if Julio plays. Ridley is very good also, but Julio has had some insane games against GB.
They've blown some leads, but they've also scored the 6th most points so far, so their offense is good enough to get a lead.

Not calling this a trap game, but ATL could certainly come in a upset the GB. At 0-3 they will be salty and should give GB their best shot.
Pettine's defense is less than the sum of its parts right now, and if Adams can't go it means the WRs are most likely decoys and blockers.
Maybe this is the game Darrius Sheppard redeems himself with a fuckdoggle.

All that said, GB should win this game...they are a better coached, more talented team top to bottom, and they're at home FWIW.

A bunch of good players "questionable".

Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones aren't on that list. Therefore, Packers 45 Falcons 16

Trevor Davis is a disaster waiting to happen. The Packers and several other teams gave him chances, because of the natural athletic ability he has. He never showed himself to be reliable fielding punts or kickoffs, never generated confidence in his decision making as a returner and never established a niche as a receiver.

I see no reason for GB to bring Davis back. I would rather that they give a chance to someone else, if need be.

J.K. Scott was out with illness. Packers could be forced to sign a punter. And Crosby could have a new holder. Lots of moving parts going into this game.

Easy way to overcome scott is to score every drive. I think thats what the packers should do....

Seriously I am feeling concern about this game. If we have lost our top 2 and they get Julio back then no Clark etc...
This team had 2 15 PT leads going into the 4th. Yes they collapsed but prior to that they had the lead without Julio.

Julio though is questionable too with a hamstring. I wouldn't want to have to place a bet on this game.

We’re potentially missing a whole bunch of guys.

My biggest concern right now is that Ridley and Julio might be able to play and Jaire might not.

Jaire, Clark (Gurley is looking tough), Adams, Lazard

It’s tough losses at tough places.

It’s not just the Packers starting to look beat up beyond recognition. It’s the whole league. The reason I’d be ok with resting everyone going into the bye and probably dropping one is because after the bye we’ll be one of the only teams really rested and in football shape for the rest of the season. The other teams, theoretically would continue to see fatigue injuries until they get a break, something the nfl schedule doesn’t allow for.
