Hmmm..... Yeah. In Clarks interview I got the impression he wanted to play even last week. Said it was a minor strain and that he prepared to play.

The only thing I do like about the lafleur way is we were one of the healthiest team's in the league last year. And I'm very curious to see if the caution approach can quell this bad start and allow us to be one of the healthiest again.

Davante and Lazard out. Julio and Ridley in. If we pull this one off it'll be a small miracle.

There is still a shot. Coin flip maybe. If Clark plays, our chances of getting some second or third and longs goes up.

Doesn't seem like the odds have moved that much. They show GB(-6), so maybe the bookies know something. I hope they do.
Not going to be easy game. The defense will have to come out ready to play, and the RB/TE will need to step up for Rodgers.

Should be good indicator of the coaching.

Last week Saints bracketed MVS and used their stout run defense to keep Jones in check but got burned by Lazard. This week there's no Lazard. However, Falcons run defense isn't nearly as good as Saints. If Packers win this game, Jones will likely be the story both in the run and pass game.

I could see ATL running a similar plan, this time figuring Swerv, Big Bob, Jace and Shep won't be able to do what the lizard king did.

Big game by Jones. Huge game by Large Robert

The thing to remember is we won 4 straight without hazard or Adams last year. Big bob was injured, jace was dinged and out I believe. It was Allison and MVS.

                We could be just fine

Let's remember, we won a bunch of games with bad defense and worse offensive weapons around 12 in 2017 and 18 and won 4 straight without Lazard playing much and Adams last year.

Lazard had no catches in the 1st game Adams missed last year. But he had 150 yards over the next 3. He was a factor.

                      • It should also be noted that we have a really good chance of coming back healthy and having dodged the serious injury bug that is going around the NFL after the bye. We’re also strongly poised to compete for the 1 seed with or without a victory against Atlanta considering the schedules of us compared to SF and Seattle.

                        • Adams certainly sounds unhappy, hopefully he buys into that this is for long term good. Not saying he's right or wrong that he's ready to go, just that I hope he accepts the decision and doesn't hold a grudge about it. Last year the Pack was in very good shape health/injury-wise.

Wow though, who the hell is going to be catching the in the middle of the field and on intermediate routes tonight? Depth chart only lists 4 WRs, one of which is Adams. After MVS it's Sheppard and Malik Taylor <- 0 NFL catches

edit: Adams' tweet about being out has been deleted.
In a tweet on Monday morning, Packers wide receiver Davante Adams said that he would not be playing against the Falcons on Monday night.

This game will test the versatility Lafleur covets. I expect you'll see Jones, Tonyan, Sternberger and Ervin all lining up at various WR positions at times. Probably will see either Begelton or Foster elevated to roster.

Yep. Swerv, Jones and Williams all gonna spit out at times. Obviously gonna try to get big bob and jace involved.

I could see the package with both Jones/Williams on the field together brought out this week too. And Jones/Swerv and Williams/Swerv. Gonna be some personnel creativity tonight early and a riding the hot hands game identity develop from that.

We can still win. We play D to stop the pass not the run. Atlanta passes without establishing the run. If Atlanta doesn't adjust we can win this. Also we need to control the clock early and take them out of their rhythm like we have so far all season.
