And Preston is looking like expendable number 2! Gary and Z will be fine out there going forward.

Hey Harrell, Clark didn’t do shit in this game. saying the D’s gonna be lights year better with Clark back is delusional.

It was one bad game in 90 degree sweltering heat. Nobody has conquered the wildlings of Russia because turf advantages. The brits couldn’t march through the Appalachian forests without getting hill billy ambushed at every 100 year American oak. And the northerners crumbled in the Tampa heat.

I don’t know that it was as bad as it looked just yet.

Yep, I talked about it at length all offseason that the Packers offense was not equipped with the correct pieces to match up against a defense that has the ability to effectively play “Press Man Coverage” while applying pressure!!!!

It went great until Arod made one of those super rare bad throws. Then they got thrown way off the game plan and the wheels came off. Oh and the defense failed miserably.

MVS has been getting progressively more solid with his underneath routes. So that was nice to see. When Lazard comes back, I think they could really have something with those top 3.

I also liked the shot of Rodgers and MVS on the sideline. Everyone just loves MVS, the person. I just got a good vibe about him and Rodgers respecting each other through the ups and downs.

I also admired the way Amos, Rodgers and Lafleur faced the reporters after the game. And the way the reporters were respectful. Some tough questions, but I’m glad our Wisconsin media doesn’t come so rude and disrespectful in tone as some of the bigger cities, especially New York.

I feel like it was a good loss. The guys stuck together. There were some CLEAR pin pointed problems after the game from Lafleur and Rodgers. The sluggishness of the operation has to change. And it sounds like that is fixable. I get the impression Lafleur has a little ways to go as far as being a timely play caller. He’s still somewhat green. I hope he can do it. He’s methodical and detailed. That’s not always the best personality type for on the spot play calling. Maybe Hackett would be better? Just saying. I love Lafleur as a coach, but maybe calling plays isn’t his strength.

I feel better about the receivers now than I have all year. MVS is starting to round out his game. Adams is Adams. Lazard is coming back. I thought MVS had a good performance and I look forward to him being the #3 some day, hopefully soon, when Lazard comes back. He’s looking like a great #3

Turner? I actually watched the OL relatively closely today. The interior was the problem. RBs blocked poorly. Wagner was a turnstile late. Turner was one of our better OL today.

I’m feeling better and better about losing Jones.

A. I like Williams a lot and he’s cheap
B. I like Dillon a lot and he ran outside zone really well at BC
C. I don’t think Jones is a very good short yardage player
D. I don’t like Jones running outside zone. It really limits our attack to not be able to mix in the stretch plays. Great for some matchups, horrible in others
E. 12-16M for a RB that is not complete is ridiculous!

You could just feel the desperation on offense as the game went on. We have nobody that you can really hang your hat on outside of Adams in pass game which forces Rodgers to lock in on him. Lack of playmakers across the board. You could also see the difference of team speed across the board and on the second level and the back end. Our guys couldn’t win and we had zero favorable matchups. They blitzed a lot and caused problems and the Packers couldn’t figure it out. Nobody could get a clean release. Even Adams didn’t look himself. Very weird for a team coming off a bye. They looked outmatched and overpowered across the board. Rodgers needs more help!!!! Just looking at all the guys Brady has made me kinda jealous!!

The defense is pathetic!!!! Amos and Savage are trash. Missed King. ILB is an issue but has been for years. Kenny Clark was invisible but so was just about everyone on the front seven. Preston Smith took his $ and packed it in. Mike Pettine shouldn’t be here right now. Very frustrating situation. I’m not expecting much improvement this year from this group. It just isn’t there.

That double pump.that Rodgers did after the near rushing touchdown was absolutely hilarious. I had no clue what it was reference to at the time, but I absolutely laughed my ass off!!
