I went back and re-checked the video, and Clark in fact was double teamed a lot and triple teamed a few times. Regarding the Cletidus thing, my recollection of him was that he was kinda a one trick pony, preferring - for better or worse, usually worse - to penetrate into the backfield while generally failing miserably as a run stopper. Clark isn't like that at all. He's a damn good run stopper while also collapsing the pocket and getting "mop up" sacks when other guys force the QB to move up.
We damn well better re-sign Jones anyway. King is probably not worth the money he would cost. And Linsley, good as he is, has proven to be very replaceable. He too likely will command more money than it would be smart for the Packers to pay him. Clark may not be Aaron Donald, but he certainly is on the next level, and it's pretty hard to find that level quality of D Lineman.
