What's Martin? Seems like eternal hope unfulfilled!

Seriously, I thought Alcorn did a few good things and I'm glad the Packers have him at least for now. Martin should be about ready to go out with an injury for a few weeks, and when it happens I expect he will be gone, unless he becomes the new fullback.

      That's what they are sayin'.

That Tory Humphery or David Martin will be back-up fullbacks.

You need a good fullback in a lead zone scheme to make that BOSS block. I don't think either one of these guys can get that done.

Humphrey is reportedly a very physical player, Martin anything but that. As a blocker, I think Humphrey might be the choice over Martin. That's why I said "unless". I have little confidence in Martin for getting anything done at this point!

Leach just looked very awkward. He's a battering ram only. I suggested his spot in NFL was tenuous last spring, and was roasted for it. God, it feels great to be right!

I'd rather have Humphrey at fullback, he can do more of the things that Henderson brings to the offense. Athletic. Able to move body to catch blitzers. Adjust to passes that aren't thrown perfectly.

Still, rather have Leach as designated battering ram than Herron.

Leach was a back up & I think he was getting around $1 mil/yr. I agree we don't need 2 FB's, the TE's can back up and free a roster spot. Humphrey can catch pretty good. I got a feeling Robinson is going to pan out too.
            Thanks Ted!

You're thinking of Luchey and what he would have gotten last year.
Leach is a minimum wage guy, $425,000.

You're right, the names are similar. There goes that theory.
                Thanks Ted!
