Rodgers would have won that game. But this is Loves low point. He only gets better. It was his first game, at arrowhead with 4 days prep time. I’d like to see him one more time.Originally posted by texaspackerbacker View PostYeah, move on ...... if you like long term losing - coming close to a stumbling team only because our D was fired up. I say again, Rodgers woulda won it by a couple TDs or more.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

RG, you want to see him start at Seattle - and we lose that game too? We simply aren't gonna beat anybody decent without Rodgers. That includes Seattle with Wilson and probably Seattle without Wilson.
Now if you want to see him start the last game against Detroit after we've clinched the top seed, I'm with you on that hahahahaha. What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Love will continue to learn and grow. If he does have to be the full time starter next year, he will be closer to what he needs to be than he is now. Rodgers was not ready to be a starter two years into his career either.
To me, Love gets an average grade today. At times, he looked flustered and unsure. At times, he looked focused and composed. He made a few inaccurate throws. He tossed a couple dimes. It was a mixed bag.
I think the biggest takeaway is that he kept plugging, didn't let the INT get to him, and came back to lead a TD drive on a great throw. He seemed to slowly improve as the game went on, which is a good sign to me.
Picking him was a mistake. We didn't need a project QB when we were knocking on the door of a Super Bowl. However, there is potential in Love if Rodgers decides to move on after this year. It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

Would that be with GB, or somewhere else in about 3 years
)) ?
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Andrew Brandt - who may be full of it, he’s definitely an opportunist - has stated on numerous occasions that they thought they had something special very early, thst he was uniquely accurate.Originally posted by Bretsky View PostI'm confused reading all of this; I thought you'd be going through extensive means to apolgize for Love. Instead others are. Yes, our ST has been poor.
Love has been as well. For the love of the NFL this is not a good defense. Consistence on accuracy is something a NFL quarterback cannot sacrifice.
Maybe he still makes is. I was lit up in a thread for noting how media members really saw flashes from AROD in practice and they thought he would be fine. They noted they don't see that from the Luvmachine.
I wish I would see one of those flashes today.

If he’s not ready in 2022 when will he be ready? I didn’t watch the game but he should be more prepared than Rodgers was for Dallas and that Dallas team was much better than the 2021 Chiefs. MUCH better!Originally posted by King Friday View PostLove is not making stupid throws into double coverage. While his accuracy hasn't been great, we also are all jaded in having watched back to back HOF QBs. Love has shown flashes. He's got potential. He won't be ready in 2022.

Rodgers sat for 3 years behind Favre. Rodgers looked every bit an inexperienced QB for 2 full years. He started to show he was ready in year 3, and was the starter in year 4. The Dallas game occurred in Rodgers' third year in the league.Originally posted by call_me_ishmael View PostIf he’s not ready in 2022 when will he be ready? I would expect a similar path for Love, although you have to compensate to some extent for what COVID did to Love's development in his first year. Love did not get a full year of camp and training like Rodgers did in his first year. That absolutely hurt his development.
I think you give Love another off-season of training, and some more live bullet action next year, he would be ready to go in 2023 as a good starting QB.
Love's performance today was better than anything Rodgers did in his first 2 seasons in the NFL.It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

You are an idiot. Rodgers was just as pathetic in his first two years, and you were probably someone yelling to keep Favre until he was 50 and quit the Rodgers experiment.Originally posted by The Shadow View PostJordan Love is clearly missing the QB awareness gene.
A ballsy team would realize a mistake & move on looking in a different direction.
This experiment should be over. It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

In year 3 in his first action he nearly led a 21 point comeback against the I believe 8-1 cowboys. Rodgers had 31 pass attempts in his first 2 years of regular season action.Originally posted by call_me_ishmael View PostIn year 3 in his first action he nearly led a 21 point comeback against the I believe 8-1 cowboys. Didn’t he break his foot year two?
He completed less than half of those passes.
He did not throw a TD.
Relax on all the hysteria that Love is incapable and a complete waste. I strongly disagreed with drafting him, but he's a Packer now and more likely than not the guy who will get the first shot after Rodgers. At least be fair when evaluating him. Comparing him to a third year Rodgers is not fair. It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!
