what kind of shit game plan was that after the first drive?
10 fucking points. a QB who only looks for the #1 option, an absolute horse shit ST
i can't blame the D too much for this one, they did their job tonight, only gave up 6 points
but fuck that was horrible on offense and ST

MLF knew it...and did nothing about it. He better be grilled about his decision to retain a moron instead of demanding excellence.Originally posted by George Cumby View PostHow many of us predicted 'Teams would cost us?
We knew this was a real possibility. It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

To be honest, I'm ready to see him go. Take the draft picks we get from Denver or whomever, and the comp pick for Adams, and rebuild. LaFleur obviously needs a couple more years to be competitive in the postseaon, maybe by the time we rebuild he'll be ready to win.Originally posted by Anti-Polar Bear View PostDrayton’s gone.
Rodgers and Adams are probably gone.
Defense allowed 6 points and team loss.
Fuck!!!!!!!!!

We had everything we wanted this year. Home field. Cold, winter weather. Nearly all our players back from IR.
This was a bad one. Beat by a team with no offense and, really beat by our own mistakes on special teams.
Our QB looked his age. He wasn't outplayed by the other QB. He couldn't elevate the team.
If this was the last hurrah, it went out sounding like a firecracker that sputtered but didn't explode.
Sad, sad end to a very promising season.

I'll lie awake tonight wondering what a different game this would have been if that dropped 3rd down pass in the 2nd drive had been caught. The way we were rolling.... the momentum we had behind us, and the Niners just wobbling withg their eyes crossed, not understanding at all what was happening to them.... punch it in for a second TD, keep the momentum and the confidence sky high.... I dunno. Might have been a very different game. It was like all the air went out of the team at that point. They didn't do a damned thing for the rest of the game except for that one lucky 75 yard pass off the blown coverage.
