Packers lose by at least 20 in this game I'm afraid, weak offense with no receivers doesn't get better. There is no scheme to fix no talent (be it young or just shitty). This is the week that the wheels officially fall off. Well at least we will get a decent pick in the draft.

I do like the contrarian play. If Erin is as fragile and easily butt hurt as people contend I would expect his best game of the year.Originally posted by Anti-Polar Bear View PostI am definitely putting frogskins on the Packers. Hard to really argue with this take. Bills are better at every position basically. However I would argue that the POTENTIAL is closer to the packers being about equal. For my money, the Bills are the most talented roster in the league. Packers would be top 5 if the OL were healthy and gelling. IF Bak and Jenkins were to return to form they are 6 deep in very good players. If Bak sits and Jenkins is sub par...well, that is the best 2 of the group so clearly it changes the equation.Originally posted by Sparkey View Post43 - 10 Bills ( Normal weather )

Better QB - Bills
Better Offense - Bills
Better Defense - Bills
Better Special Teams - Bills
or lets look at this another way:
( Josh Allen and Stefan Diggs vs The GB Defense )
( Aaron Rodgers and Sammy Watkins vs The Bills Defense )

It was close to their best performance of the year which is encouraging...but the run blocking wasn't where it needs to be. It is near impossible to run at Sweat though, and Tom didn't run block particularly well.Originally posted by Freak Out View PostThe OL played pretty well overall considering the front 4 they were facing. The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary -- Vince Lombardi

Jeudy is way too expensive. Pitt is flush with good WR and they are rebuilding. If claypool could be had for a 3rd I would trade it. Otherwise we will fuck it up like we do every 3rd round pick.Originally posted by Jaire View PostNo way. pathetic. Anyways, I expect Jeudy or Claypool to suit up in green and gold before Sunday. Gute needs to do something to get help on offense: he completely failed the off season. Time for him to try to save face at least.
Imagine a future of 6'4" superfreak athletes Claypool and Watson lining up with 6'2" Romeo. That could terrify defenses in the future. The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary -- Vince Lombardi

We only have two starters from the second round since Adams. We have become the teams I used to make fun of, saying they are better off trading their picks for proven players with a path. We should not be drafting in the second or third rounds. period.
Maybe Gute can make his living off trades, FA, guys off the street, and UDFA's.

CLAYPOOL is the guy to get near term, and I'd also give up a 3rd. Pickens is their future. They are not going to resign Claypool after he expires. He might be the one WR who makes sense.
Alex Pierce, and Pickens look pretty good this year.TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I've generally been against drafting WRs early or trading for them as well as against signing old retread FAs. I'm coming around to modifying that point of view, though. Yeah, getting Claypool for a 3rd would be a good thing, both for the present and the future, although retaining him after 2023 might get expensive if he proves to be good.Originally posted by bobblehead View PostJeudy is way too expensive. I'd be okay with giving up a 3rd for Claypool since he's only in the 3rd year of his contract. He would only count 2.1M against the cap next year. If the Packers can right the ship and get to 5-5, a better idea might be to go after OBJ in a few weeks. He played in a similar offense with the Rams last year and could pick things up pretty quickly.Originally posted by Bretsky View PostCLAYPOOL is the guy to get near term, and I'd also give up a 3rd. I wonder how good OBJ will be coming back from his second ACL. I'm not convinced he'd be worth near what he thinks he'd be worth.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostI'd be okay with giving up a 3rd for Claypool since he's only in the 3rd year of his contract. Given Packers recent draft history, I'd give up a 3rd for Claypool. But there's no way I'd give up a 4th.Originally posted by Freak Out View PostMan…he may as well give up a 3rd…Gute sucks in the 3rd. Claypool could have a huge impact almost immediately. Right now, the way I see it, Gute is cutting most his seconds, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, and sevenths early. I'm not disagreeing with him either.Originally posted by Bretsky View PostGIVEN all of GUTE's shitty 3rd round picks can we just trade them all away ?
The FA part of the GM job seems to be his forte and he's good with the firsts. So, let's just let her rip, and get it going. This train is a runnaway anywho.
Don't let San Fran beat you in the futures give away.
the future is now..............................and it means the FO will get cleaned out sooner than later.
