Come on you can’t be shocked about that. That’s pretty much been his style since forever. Even when I couldn’t stand his ass, I always thought he went about his personal business properly instead of being like a Tony Romo social darling.

Man, the world is backwards, now I’m the one taking his side over all you tricks.

    • Rodgers looked very good yesterday. He didn't run the ball, but he looks more mobile than he's looked in a while. His throwing was never in question. If his legs hold up, he could have a very good year.

I didn't see much mobility. I did see receivers wide open all over the field. If the Packers receivers were that open, the Packers would have put up 70.

        • He looked still capable of winning an Owl. He no longer looks like he can CARRY a team to an Owl.

          • He will do well if healthy because he is a spiteful mfer and feels very jaded after the j-e-t-s kicked him to the curb.

            • Yeah, it was an excellent day for Rodgers. I have said all along if Rodgers wants to go for it, he ought to be excellent at least as long as Brady. Most people are no longer calling him the GOAT. To me, he is still the GOAT and will ultimately be recognized as just as good if not better than Brady.

As for wide open receivers or weak D or whatever, the Jets played decent D. There was some degree of pass rush, a lot of ok coverage and contested catches, and not a whole lot of Steeler running game. Barring injury, I expect Rodgers to have a very good season. Super Bowl? Probably not, as the Steelers in general aren't quite good enough.

I'm not a big "unwritten rules" guy; y'all have certainly read my disdain for shackling young athletes with old people's expectations, but when you're making the most money on the team and you have the perspective of seeing youngsters shuffled in and out of their pro career, you should expect yourself to keep your teammates knowing you believe in them and appreciate their effort.

If you can get Aa-ron to forget that chip on his shoulder, you can take him out of the game.

                    • I wish I knew how to do a poll or that somebody would do this one: Not that it would ever happen, but if Pittsburgh offered a trade of 3 Number 1 draft picks plus Aaron Rodgers for Jordan Love, would you take the offer?

I have as high an opinion of Love as anybody, but for sure I would take that offer.

Just ask the plethora of teams in the NFL that have used way more than a few first round draft picks on QB's trying to endlessly find "the one." When you have one, you don't give him up for picks to go hunting for another one.

It was pretty spot on. In the 4th AaRon returned to his old ways of singling teammates out. Sure looks like he got thrown off his game when he couldn’t get rid of it and was getting stalked by Parsons.

That's why I wasn't surprised we kept Aaron Jones when we re-signed Aaron Rodgers. Number 12 has the talent, but 33 was the guy you want when someone has a drop or whiff while you're down 9 points.
