How Will J-Love's Career Play Out?

We’ve looked at Love from both sides now
From wins and losses, and still somehow
It’s Love’s illusions we recall
We really don’t know Love at all
Will Love pimp his game to the elite level this season? Or, woah, woah, what if this is all the Love we’ll ever get?I don’t want a battle from beginning to end
I don’t want a cycle of recycled revenge

Hard to be elite when you're handing off to Josh Jacobs on 1st down most of the time. Unleash the beast!I can't run no more with that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up a thundercloud

I still don't know what Jodan Love is. He needs to stay healthy and show consistency over a full season for me to form a strong view.
I'm not sure if he's above average, top half of the league, top ten, or who knows. Time will tell.
It's dam good they added a 7th playoff team years ago.TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Who would you rather have, right here, right now?
Mahomes? He's better than Love but he's injured and getting older. Love has more football in front of him.
Allen? Amazing performer, and better than Love in a lot of ways, but kind of a head-case.
Burrow? Yeah, no.
Herbert? Maybe?
Purdy? Not me.
Hurts? Fuck, no.
C. Williams? Just 'no'.
Goff? An aging statue.
Mayfield? No.
Darnold? Yeah, no.
Who am I missing?
IMO, he's a very good QB, bordering on great. Potentially in the MVP conversation.
Let him cook, Matt.

In 2025 Love was 10th in pct. Of passes for TD's, 6th in least pct. Of passes intercepted, 7th in success pct. , 8th in yards per pass attempt, 10th in yards per completion, 6th in passer rating, 3rd in QBR, 7th in sack pct. Only major rate/pct where he was mediocre was completion pct., where he was 15th. Favre and Rodgers hit MVP level in 4th season as starter. It is time, if MLF unleashes him.
Keep in mind that Love had those numbers with His most talented receivers (Watson, Reed, Kraft) missing close to, or more than half the season.

Love was extremely inspiring in the Wild Card loss. Fuck the punk kicker and the milksop D.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostIn 2025 Love was 10th in pct. Of passes for TD's, 6th in least pct. I liked Bretsky’s post cos I echo it. Love needs to take his game to beyond heliosphere.I don’t want a battle from beginning to end

I think Love is the franchise QB for GB. I think Gute has given him weapons, and even a few players on D to help get him the ball back.
What I'm still concerned about is the OL. Love was really, really good when he had time to throw.
Kraft, Reed, Watson and Golden played almost zero snaps together last season. That might matter too, but how Love handles blitz pressure will be important. I'm sure everyone saw how Dennis Allen basically blitzed the hell out of Love (and Stafford) in the playoffs.
Love still does things that trouble me (throwing off the back foot, underthrowing deep shots, etc.) but I think he's one of the least worrisome things on the offense. He's a top quartile (i.e., top 8) QB IMO.

Lamar? Dynamic AF, but I don't think he can win the big one. Love is a better QB.
Nix? Too soon to tell.
May? Too soon to tell.
Mendoza? Way too soon to tell.

QB's I'd take over Love assuming they play a full season. If looking long term, elimate Stafford cause he's old
Patrick Mahomes
Josh Allen
Lamar Jackson
Joe Burrow
Justin Herbert
Drake May
Guys I might take over Jordan Love for 2026
Matt Stafford (if he plays like last year put him unstairs with the rest
Dak Prescott
Jayden Daniels
Jaylon Hurts
I guess in my estimation he's a top 10-12 right now. I want to see him make some primetime plays in primetime games. I want to see him make some people better. What we have so far is decent. He might be great; but he needs to be more conistently accurate, and lift the team when they are stuggling
