Love caught a break with the Rodgers injury. imagine dealing with the comparison to how Rodgers did each week on top of trying to establish yourself in your first year as a starter.
    Great observation

Comparing stats over periods of time is nearly pointless. Back 40 years ago, defensive backs could hold, bump and harass a receiver all the way down field. No way you get away with a 3rd of the crap that a DB did back then. Think about this: Dan Fouts from 79-81 averaged over 4,500 yards passing. Just think what those Air Coryell teams would do against todays patty cake defenses ?

Granted, the Rodgers / Love comparison is not that distant.

To this point, Rodgers was 4th in passing yards in 2008. Love is currently 14th.

I'm trying not to make any Love to Rodgers comps to be honest. Its just silly if you think about it. For my money Rodgers career in total was top 5 all time. Until Love puts in 5 top 10 finishes ANY comparison is just an exercise in mental masturbation.

But love is trending up. 4,300 and 33 is probably closer than 4k and 29 the way it’s going.
Does that account for the extra regular-season game this year?

If you pronounce TD you get to say a socially correct non-word "Tud" instead of my preferred non-socially correct pronunciation "Titty" or "Tiddy"

For example I hate banks but TD Bank is my favorite. Not because I ever use them, but because it sounds like where you go to stock up on all varieties of your favorite "Tiddies"

Maybe I'll name my strip club "TD Bank" when I open it.
