The good:

...Jordan Morgan stood up Devonte Wyatt on a bull rush in a one-on-one drill.

The Arizona product then drew Kenny Clark one rep later, and Clark beat him with outside speed. You don’t see the kind of speed that Clark has from defensive tackles in the Pac-12.Morgan is getting great reps.

The not so good:

... Jordan Morgan left practice and went into the Don Hutson Center with the trainers.The starting right guard has not returned. It’s not clear what happened to him.

Wasn't aware of this:

... Edgerrin Cooper remains out with a hip injury.

He left practice on Wednesday and was escorted inside by a trainer. He then watched the rest of practice from the sideline. Cooper didn't practice on Thursday or during Saturday Family Night.

We are all very aware that no player has ever overcome the injury bug early in his career to put it all together, so Mad has us right where he wants us.

Casey Hayward? Specifically hamstring, too.

Hmmm. I will look on the bright side and say better than knee, hamstring, or ankle.

MLF says Jordan Morgan will be out for a week or 2. Shoulder injury.

As far as the kicking, MLF said the wind yesterday was worse than anything they will likely face inside a stadium.

I will say, the practice facility helps block wind from the west, but otherwise it's pretty open out there.

There’s a new kicker in camp: Oklahoma State’s Alex Hale (16), who was part of the workout group. The Packers also signed defensive linemen Zach Morton and Brevin Allen.

They’ve released CB Don Callis and WR Rory Starkey.
