Who will have a better year at QB in 2026?

Love over Willis.

Miami has gone full rebuild. I don't think its a fair comp. Also we have a really smart HC/OC who will benefit Love more. That said, given the state of our OL, will Love play 10 games??

You've been proven correct - in hindsight.

How is it hindsight?? I was VERY vocal about doing exactly those things in camp. I was right in real time, and the benefit of hindsight PROVES it.

I do think his poor supporting cast is relevant, but I also think he will show enough that the Dolphins will have a steal of a contract on their hands. But I don't need hindsight. I have 70/89 972 yards 6TD, 0int, 261yds rushing to go with, in the exact offense Love plays in. 315 snaps. Thats about 6 games worth of snaps. I saw enough to convince me he was every bit as good as Love. 10x more mobile.

And understand....I LIKE Jordan Love. I think he is a solid QB. I wouldn't think we could get 3 firsts if I thought he sucked.

You missed the whole point of my post if you’re just going to highlight that line. AT THE TIME, the Packers had SB aspirations, legit ones. But do you want to roll the dice on thinning out your offensive line depth for a future pick? It’s not unreasonable to say no, you don’t want to do that. But IN HINDSIGHT, no one got injured and Morgan eventually showed he was not a very good guard. So sure, they should’ve traded Walker (though you don’t really know, do you, if they’d have gotten a second round pick, do you?). But at the time, that would have been a big risk.

Who did the Dolphins hire as an Offensive Coordinator?

Bobby Slowik. Hoo boy, that's a gamble. He looked like a genius in year 1 of CJ Stroud. Then the offensive line collapsed. It wasn't all him but he was a mixed bag in Houston.

Is he from the Shanahan/McVay tree? Are they just gonna run some version of the Packers offense?
