Reed can't beat (good) man coverage.

They started slow. Felt like Detroit sent pressure a lot - saw them sending 5-6 more than a few times at Love. Also, Detroit just flat out held the ball longer. 70+ plays for DET, only 45 plays for the GB offense. Hard to score points if you don't have the ball.
DET had too much success converting on 3rd and 4th down.

Didn't like the Watson OPI call, was pretty tickytacky, but don't let 'ref bad luck' decide the game. They should have called OPI on LaPorta 2 minutes later.
It feels like they are missing one piece on offense. Maybe that was Reed tonight, he's been quiet recently and makes me wonder if he's injured or if teams are erasing him in coverage schemes. If so, MLF has to counter that.

They took the best team (right now) in the league down to the wire. Sucks they couldn't pull off the upset, but they were underdogs for a reason.
Time to focus on getting healthy with the mini-bye and focus on beating Seattle. Doubs, Jaire, Cooper, Bullard, Evan Williams, etc.

I'm a little concerned about the Williams injury - I hope he's not injury-prone.

Lions are reminding me of the 2010 Packers - the constant injuries are not stopping them.

The defensive line just did not get the job done against the Lions, period. And at this point, why are they playing Stokes at all? My gosh he's just pretty bad.

The lions are nothing like the 2010 Packers. More like the 2010 Atl Falcons who had only 2 losses on the season. Then they got beat down by the wild card Packers. I considered it Rodgers best playoff game ever.

DET does seem like this year's "team of destiny", but part of me also wonders if the injuries and all the in-game luck they've had is going to run out in the playoffs. I could see them breaking fan's hearts in the SB or NFCCC.
Some of that could come down to Campbell taking a gamble that doesn't pay off.

Why wait until the NFCCG to have the Loins break their fans' hearts? Why not have them OUT in the first playoff game after their bye week?
