Bucs release Shilo Sanders, Deion Sanders' son, one day after he was ejected from game for throwing punch. Getting ejected from last preseason game when you're an undrafted free agent not a good career move.

The Commanders and star WR Terry McLaurin have a 3-year extension worth $96M, sources say.
The deal adds 3 more years to McLaurin, who now can take the field in 2025 with a clear head and full bank account.I can't run no more

Napping while not playing is exponentially worse than eating food during a game.Originally posted by Fritz View PostLooks like Jerruh and Parsons are at loggerheads here.
What would be considered more egregious? Napping on the sideline or pulling an Ezra Johnson and eating a hot dog during a game?

Loins have released Hendon Hooker. On the one hand, I cheer - they spent a third round pick on this guy, and he couldn't win the backup QB job in his second year. But then again, the fact that the Loins released him means they're not hanging on to their mistakes. Damn. I liked it when they were a bumbling organization."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

It's been pretty interesting seeing how many teams are trading/releasing players drafted on Day 2 with 2 years left on their contract. Makes one think Gute isn't so bad at draftting.Originally posted by Fritz View PostLoins have released Hendon Hooker. Hey for fun look at what Kwesi and Poles have done with the draft. Minnesota got one year out of R3 pick Mekhi Blackmon (he tore his ACL last year) and traded him for a R6.

Its a comment on job security. Most GMs have such a short leash that waiting for a guy to develop just doesn't make sense. Better to sign a veteran who can help today as I will be unemployed if I wait. I still am not big on Sean Rhyan, but this guy had a huge jump AFTER year 2 when he looked horrible. I may have moved on if I were the GM, but gutes hung in there and Rhyan is as good as an 11th year guy and still has some upside. Look at TN with Willis. They drafted a developmental player, developed him and when he wasn't ready to be Maholmes 2.0 they gave up. This is a mans game and some guys aren't ready until they are 25 years old.Originally posted by run pMc View PostIt's been pretty interesting seeing how many teams are trading/releasing players drafted on Day 2 with 2 years left on their contract.
