    That PFF shit continues to be misleading and IMO mostly bogus.

    Johnson over Brooks would be ok, but keeping him and losing Wilson would not. They need to keep 4 RBs and 3 more RBs on the PS.
    What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

      I'm big on both. Belton is a mauler I want in the run game. Obviously the mental errors need to go away, but he flashes physical dominance. I'm wondering what the overall plan for the OL is going forward. We clearly went big this year.

        I'm a little puzzled by the Colby Wooden ascension to backup NT. He's never been all that impressive, to me. It seems like versatility is becoming more and more important at several positions in the NFL, and maybe a mediocre backup nose tackle/three technique is better to have than a solid (not saying great, but solid) just-nose-tackle guy like Stackhouse or Brinson?

          Wooden looks noticeably bigger, and it's worked. He's looked pretty good against the run and pass. Teams are always looking for DL who can do both. Probably why Brinson was drafted and Stackhouse wasn't. The Packers will keep 5 or 6 DL. If it's 5, Stackhouse might be the odd man out.

            They ought to be able to keep all three - Wooden, Stackhouse, and Brinson.

              If you suck equally at many things like Wooden is that versatility? Stackhouse makes this team, no question about it.

                I'm disturbed by the number of professional athletes named 'Stackhouse' - Maybe it's because my sportsball viewing is way down and/or incipient cognitive decline, but every time I turn around it seems someone is talking about 'Stackhouse'

                  I always think of the series "true blood" with the heroine being Sukki Stackhouse .....No idea if I spelled her first name correctly.

                      [QUOTE=Joemailman;1175577]Fight at intrasquad practice!

                      Look at Zach Tom jumping and punching and jumping and punching! That's some Muhammed Ali shit right there!

                      But Zach, don't break a hand punching a guy in the facemask.

                      Even though Pete Care-hole isn't there any more, there's still some bad blood.

                      Totally unrelated: Why don't Luke Musgrave and Brenton Cox play Special Teams? It would help the roster construction greatly if both did. Like, what's stopping them?

                          Nice video hahahaha. WTG Tom - assuming he didn't hurt his hands punching or anything.

                          Willis was apparently outstanding today. Kraft and Musgrave stood out too.

                            The Flower's been getting pissy with his offensive linemen. He got all up into Rasheed Walker's face this past week, and now he's aggravated at Elgton Jenkins.

                              Since this is a gameday thread, I'd like to suggest to Joe to delay starting the thread for the final preseason game, so Captain can get his hottest posting skills ready for the season. Sure the bodies of his work has been excellent to date, but we need to make sure he doesn't fumble and post a 3 when a regular season gameday thread is on the line.
