Hopefully the Mailman (or someone else) took up Sud’s offer of 4 free tix to this game, so they don’t go to waste. I would take them, but like a few weeks ago when my beloved Coldplay played at Camp Randall, I ain’t a date to go with me. Talk about missed opportunity - like Coldplay is gonna play at Camp Randall again.

As for the game, I will catch it a few miles away, grinding at poker.

Last chance for some guys to make a case for a roster spot.

QB: Clifford and Elgersma battle for practice squad spot. They know what they have in Clifford. Elgersma has better arm and 4 year younger.

RB: Wilson, Brooks, Abanikanda and Amar Johnson battling for 2-3 spots behind Jacobs.

WR: Looks like Heath and Hardman battling for #6 spot. Cornelius Johnson, Julian Hicks and Isaiah Neyor have had good moments though.

TE: Will they keep 3 or 4? If only 3, then Sims and FitzPatrick in a battle.

OL: Can any reserves step up? Monk, Lecitus Smith, Donovan Jennings and Kadeem Telfort probably battling for 2 spots.

DL: Do they keep 5 or 6? If only 5 then Brooks, Wooden, Brinson and Stackhouse battling for 3 spots. Probably comes down to Brinson and Stackhouse.

Edge: Brenton Cox and Arron Mosby may be battling for last spot. Could both make it if Sorrell goes on IR.

Safety: Omar Brown and Zayne Anderson probably battling for last spot. Not sure of Brown's health status.

CB: Bo Melton, Micah Robinson, Kalen King, Kamal Hadden and Corey Ballentine battling for 2-3 spots.
