My comment re: Clifford was in response to this:
Anthony Dilwig would have managed the game better than Love, forget Clifford.
Dilweg would not do any better against the CLE front in that game. In fact, the list of QBs who would is pretty small.
Making each game a referendum on Jordan Love is frankly more than a little silly. Dude is locked up for a while and isn't going anywhere. You can complain about it, but given the average starting salary (including those on rookie contracts) is $30M, you're paying a LOT for a QB no matter what. Given Gute is out his next 2 R1 picks, it's not like they are going to be drafting a replacement high anytime soon. It should be pretty clear what the team and FO think about Jordan Love -- he's actually had a decent start to the year and should finish even better.

Love made a poor decision on the interception. HOF QBs do that - Rodgers threw a bad pick right to Urlacher in the RZ of the 2010 NFCCG. If you don't like Love, fine. But saying any QB could do better is being overdramatic and unrealistic.

LOL. Okay. Because zero people reading your response would think you were talking about Dilwig. Your attempt to revise yourself is laughable, but also very sad. Anyway, your “making every game a referendum on Jordan Love” comment is just as stupid. What else should we judge him by? His hair? His commercials? Which sneakers he wears?

Outside of you trying to claim you were talking about Dilwig, which you obviously weren’t, you’re dumbest thought is comparing Love to HOF QB’s. And unfortunately for all of us, that INT wasn’t an aberration dating back 15 years like your “example.” It’s how he plays. And how he plays is substandard on all levels. Now you can be a queer fanboy and blabber on about how there’s nothing we can do about it, but don’t tell me I can’t point out the obvious without having you all idiots tell me to be quiet and root for him like the rest of you.

Finally I didn’t say “any” QB could have done better. Just 99% of those who have ever played the game would have understood the situation and done anything other than what Love did, which was about the dumbest/least athletic play he could make. Which has been a pattern through his illustriously managed career.

TLDR: Love is an unathletic retard no matter how many excuses fanboys want to continue making. Carry on.

Come on, Skin. Things that bad at home?

You don't like Love. Fine. And maybe he won't end up being the next franchise QB. He's made some poor decisions, sure. And he doesn't seem as mobile as Rodgers was in his earlier days. But the season's not over. And we all seem to be in agreement that this is the season where Love has to show he's the real deal.

But Run doesn't deserve the abuse there. Come on, man.

Skinny I was lucky enough to be on the road Sunday and missed the game. Watched the replay and yeah it was a way bad throw but Brett used to make them too. AaRon would usually take bad sacks that killed drives as well. Both got the Pack to the promise land so maybe Love will too. Why you be hating so much ? Where is the Nutster so he can bring balance to the Force!

You just don't like it when someone throws your own act back at you.

Bottom line: You LITERALLY set up a strawman and tried to pretend your overstated ridiculous position of "clifford is better than Love" never existed. I read what you wrote. It was comical if not tragic.

Right. That's like saying Drew Barrymore is hotter than Rachel Brosnahan. Even Ol' Fritzy knows better than that!

“On the road” is a fun way of saying deported. Again, the comparisons to Bert and Rodgers… ignores that Love brings none of the positive aspects those two did to offset what should be investigated by the feds as a game throwing play. That’s the point I’ve been making, in English so I understand the nuance is lost on you. Our offense has to game plan to our own QBs weaknesses, which are abundant. At a very high cost. I don’t hate him. I feel bad that he was obviously not ready for this roll and was paid to play it anyway. What I do not care for is 3+ years of excuses for a subpar QB. It’s especially poignant when the same excuse makers celebrate like we won the Super Bowl when he has an above average game - usually due to the team lifting him instead of the other way around. So there. Suck it. We are doomed to waste the best years of one the top defensive players with a pansy ass subpar QB that apparently has a cult following on this website that is far more keen on attacking the messenger than the message. Seriousl, bobblehead is borderline deranged. I will pray for him.

I’m sorry, I didn’t realize he was differently abled and needed someone else to speak for him. My apologies.

Fun story. We were in Tybee Island years ago and found a fun slushie bar with a wheelchair guy in it. Over the course of a couple days buying drinks for each other, he revealed he was a Walking Dead fan and we live a stones throw from where the author grew up. So we got into lots of arguments about the source material versus where the show ended up and he had a lot of stupid ideas. Then our friends were all like, “how can you be so mean to a guy in a wheelchair?” And I was like the dumb son of a bitch can’t use his legs, that don’t him retarded. And he really appreciated that. I wish some people here had the same attitude for sure.

I probably drove past your house mamon. Went all the way to KY. Saw lots of dull, flat places such as Kansas, likely the same as your Fruit of the Looms. Only detained a few minutes (twice) in Oklahoma (fuck that place) but they couldn’t do shit cuz I carried all the proper papers. Don’t forget your psychotic blood crossed an ocean. Mine only crossed a river so I’m much more at home mofo.

I will agree the throw was fukked. Why you gotta call Brett like that just cuz he didn’t send you a d-pic? He is and will always be a SB champ. Now you’re making me think Bobble is right about you. I’ve always had such high esteem for you why you gotta ruin it being a panocha. Until his contract is done and there is no new trophy we can’t say that.

How you gonna diss my English when you can’t even spell shit right in this post and the one after it? Pretty sure Bobbs is an elite motherfucker so I doubt he needs anybody’s prayers with his rich ass.

Thank you for your prayers. I hadn't realized the argument had changed to Love isn't as good as his 2 HoF predecessors. In that case you have been right all along. Mea culpa for not realizing when you said "clifford" you meant "rodgers".

Dude does come off as the type to think some people all look alike so maybe try to be more understanding. But him trying to move the finish line kinda voids the point of his whole thread. That’s why I said about Favre and Rodgers since skinnyB upped the standard from Clifford the big dead dog.

I don’t know man. Drew has way prettier eyes and lips compared to that chica. Is she getting too old that you have to replace her? Cold, heartless MFer you are.

                              I'm so confused. What's Skin's point?

Clifford, who can barely make a practice squad is a better QB than Love?

                              No. That's stupid.

                              Love isn't a top 20 QB?
Also stupid. There's plenty of worse options.

                              Love isn't worth his salary?

                              TBD, but a reasonable position.

                              Skin hates Love. Okay.

Skin wants to be controversial so people pay attention. Probably the most likely scenario.

That’s because you love to hump your strawman. You’re still running off the argument I made at the start of last preseason. If you were intellectually honest, you would recall that, but you’re not. The point of THIS thread is that Love still sucks balls, is massively overpaid, and still has fanboy bitches making excuses for him at every turn.

Loving Love under pressure again this game. It is an absolute pleasure to watch.
