My comment re: Clifford was in response to this:
Dilweg would not do any better against the CLE front in that game. In fact, the list of QBs who would is pretty small.
Making each game a referendum on Jordan Love is frankly more than a little silly. Dude is locked up for a while and isn't going anywhere. You can complain about it, but given the average starting salary (including those on rookie contracts) is $30M, you're paying a LOT for a QB no matter what. Given Gute is out his next 2 R1 picks, it's not like they are going to be drafting a replacement high anytime soon. It should be pretty clear what the team and FO think about Jordan Love -- he's actually had a decent start to the year and should finish even better.
Love made a poor decision on the interception. HOF QBs do that - Rodgers threw a bad pick right to Urlacher in the RZ of the 2010 NFCCG. If you don't like Love, fine. But saying any QB could do better is being overdramatic and unrealistic.
Anthony Dilwig would have managed the game better than Love, forget Clifford.
