He did have a good game. For sure. But if we're going to roast Skin for bagging on Love after one game - Cleveland - we've got to not pile on too much when Love has one good game. We'll see over the course of the season.

Last time I stood up for someone, Skin gave me a story about bagging on a guy in a wheelchair and how the wheelchair guy appreciated being treated like everyone else. So maybe I should be bagging on Skin, but I'm not going to. He'll have to appreciate someone else treating him badly despite his handicaps, whatever they are.

Jordan Love did a lot to keep GB in the game. As others have noted, every time the D crapped the bed, he took the offense down and answered. Yes, it was the Dallas D, but if MLF doesn't take the air out of the ball (especially in OT) and ST doesn't also crap the bed they win this game.

I agree, but for a different reason. Attention whores don't care if the attention is positive or negative. The only way to be rid of one is to ignore it.

Congratulations dorks. 7 games in you finally got 2 quarters of $25 million a year QB play.

The bigger issue was the abhorrent reffing. Even Collingsburg was trying to tangentially defend PIT being the sole beneficiary of whatever they’re calling league interference by claiming average fans just don’t understand why the league steps in to “randomly” reverse plays at a whim. Would be nice if they “randomly” called what was the most egregious false start I’ve seen in 40 years, but say la vive.

Don’t even have to say anything. Same ol shit. I’ve seen fanboys want to blame coaching or the kicker, but that is serious projection. Love absolutely cannot operate under any kind of pressure and cannot create anything himself and cannot see any wide open option outside of what the play calls for. He’s like a customer service AI. Gross.

Only detained a few minutes (twice) in Oklahoma (fuck that place) but they couldn’t do shit cuz I carried all the proper papers. Don’t forget your psychotic blood crossed an ocean. Mine only crossed a river so I’m much more at home mofo.

I will agree the throw was fukked. Why you gotta call Brett like that just cuz he didn’t send you a d-pic? He is and will always be a SB champ. Now you’re making me think Bobble is right about you. I’ve always had such high esteem for you why you gotta ruin it being a panocha. Until his contract is done and there is no new trophy we can’t say that.

How you gonna diss my English when you can’t even spell shit right in this post and the one after it? Pretty sure Bobbs is an elite motherfucker so I doubt he needs anybody’s prayers with his rich ass.
I’ve done that drive both ways, couple, three times.
Did you see the tree in Kansas?

Lovemaker got it done “in the clutch,” so I’d consider it operating well “under pressure.”

The pick into triple coverage was Bert Favor stupid. The near pick-6 was also stupid. Otherwise, Lovemaker played decently, to echo your boi, the Nutroll.

I never have a problem with Love's athletic ability, just his decision making.

I said three years ago that I hoped Love would be more cautious than Favre and more risk-taking than Rodgers. I felt each of his predecessors was too extreme on opposite ends of the risk-taking scale. So far, I think he is showing what I hoped for in that regard. As for the other things, I'm happy to let his development continue.

Man that’s a great take on the subject and your logic is sound. I’m starting to wonder if he has something wrong with his peripheral vision. That dropped interception where he threw it straight to the defender with no Packers around was concerning. Carolina dropped a couple of interceptions and this game could’ve been much uglier.

I can't blame Love too much on that throw. All the receivers were covered in the back of the end zone. I think he threw it hoping Doubs would come back to it, but Doubs had given up on the play because he has been forced out of the end zone. His receivers sure didn't give him any help on the play. Looking at the replay, his best bet would probably have been to throw it up high in the direction of Watson and hope for a 50/50 catch or PI.

There is no guarantee the receiver would have seen it too, but if Love breaking left had seen the last receiver deep and farthest to the left, that could have sidelined a throw that might have made it over the defender on that side. Defender was 3 steps closer to the goal line than endline and there was room. But it was very late in the play.

Like a lot of QBs, if you get Love bailing on middle pressure, it gets wonky fast.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

It's baffling to me that, nine games in, the offensive line makes so many dumb errors - letting rushers come up the middle, free. I know Sean Rhyan was playing LG, but man, he was a third round pick and he's no rookie, and Morgan's a first round pick in his second year, and Jenkins is a vet who played center in college, yet rushers coming free up the middle messed things up a couple times. Add in the sub par play of Zach Tom, and you've got a mess that, if unresolved, means this team won't go far.
