I only started the thread once - when for some reason I don't recall, you told me to. So ok, I'll do it, which probably means I'll be doing it for maybe the whole rest of the season, as we oughta win out.

There's this rumor I like the Cowboys, which I do whenever they aren't playing my obvious favorite team, THE PACKERS.

In case anybody forgot the story, I did NOT become a secondary Cowboy fan because the army sent me to Texas and I've lived here ever since. It was because of the time ten or so years earlier when the NFL put an expansion team in Dallas to combat the Dallas Texans i.e. Kansas City Chiefs - Lamar Hunt's team. It was WAR in those days between the NFL and the brand new AFL. I rooted for the Cowboys to succeed and the Texans i.e. Chiefs to fail, and that's what happened - the Texans i.e. Chiefs turned tail and ran off to K.C. Seeing the Cowboys as a worthy opponent who we beat to get into the first two Super Bowls also had a little bit to do with it.

Anyway, they are and always have been a distant second to the Packers with me.

I only asked you man, and you went on a nice win streak if I recall. Which is what we need and hell yes to winning out! Wouldn’t it be sweet if you get to call us all no balls imbeciles for doubting they would only have 1 loss like you usually predict?

Aw, would I ever do that? hahahahahaha. If they win out, I mess up my prediction of 15-2. Of course, that was before Parsons.

Nah man, that’s not like you at all…

But if it happened you would beat the streak of that dirtbag Bretsky and be on Lombardi status.

Already facing the possibility of going against the Cowboys without right tackle Zach Tom and left guard Aaron Banks, Belton (ankle) didn’t practice on Thursday. He wasn’t seen during the pre-practice stretch inside the Don Hutson Center and he wasn’t on the field during the portion of practice open to reporters.

“We’ll give them every opportunity to get right, just like the other guys,” he added.

Tom, Banks and Belton were the three players who did not practice on Thursday. Tom and Banks are starters and Belton probably was in line to start at right tackle. At least Walker (quad) practiced.

3 offensive linemen not practicing. 1 limited. 2 on IR. 1 on PUP.

If Belton doesn't play, probably looking at a line of Walker/Morgan/Jenkins/Rhyan/Kinnard.

And maybe that early bye is just what's needed. Wow. That's a brutal injury list this early in the season. Maybe Bo Melton can step in somewhere on the offensive line.

                            Speaking of which...

I swear I heard and maybe even saw Bo Melton as a wide receiver during the Browns game. Was I high? Hallucinating? Drunk on Kool Aid?

Also - I think it's a travesty that we haven't called Bo Melton by what ought to be his premier, proper, poetic, particular, PackerRats Nickname:

LaFleur confirms Anthony Belton was hurt during practice on Wednesday. Not a long term concern, but he will not be available for Sunday night's game in Dallas.

So that leaves the above likely lineup with Donovan Jennings and Brant Banks in reserve, plus Lecitus Smith and Dalton Cooper on practice squad.

I wonder if MLF just calls today's practice off.

Doesn't it feel that this happens way too much for this team- players getting hurt in practice. Tucker last week, now Belton. Hell, didn't Bakhtiari tear his ACL in practice. I find it infuriating!
