    Something to ponder.

We all know Brett Favre was the king of it. The blatant full arm swing, the forearm only swing, the quick hand only twitch and of course the shoulder check. Combined with using his eyes to look off the safety it was nearly magical.

Aaron Rodgers picked up this sorcery from his predecessor but deployed the aforementioned magic far less frequently. So much less I figured it was gone but then every now and again I'd witness one of the most stunning displays of all time. So stunning in fact that occasionally even the NFL cameras followed it incorrectly. Dazzling TV audiences and stadiums alike.

But I can't say for certain that Jordan Love has ever deployed it, much less since becoming a starter. I've been watching other games a bit more frequently this season and last season and can't say I've seen it even tried one time across the league. I wonder where it went? I wonder why it isn't done on nearly every passing play? Did the NFL ban it? Did coaches stop coaching it? Did QB's stop loving it?

I'm talking about a weapon at every QB's disposal. I'm talking about the maneuver known as "The Pump Fake" and I think it's high time it makes a raucous comeback.

          No George, no.

          You haven't been paying attention.

It's like a highly entertaining, possibly single greatest in the entire history of Packerrats Green Bay Packers bye week thread, in the avant-garde, sophisticated, low brow style of a fever dream, featuring...

          And...

I mean, it's pretty obvious man.

            Bi-George? I think you've got it!

For you Fritz, I bestow upon thee:

Apparently the Packers had FIVE DT's in for tryouts yesterday.

              Tommy Akingbesote,
              Anthony Campbell,
              Keondre Coburn,
              Fabien Lovett
              Omari Thomas

Is this bad for the outlook on Wyatt?

I say sign “Hustling” Jack Heflin off the Sheepfuck’s practice squad. Ole Jack’s “kung fu” ain’t “Wu-Tang,” but he hustles like a teenage Donald Driver on the streets of Houston, like 7th rounder Driver hustling to make the Packers as a rookie.

Possibly. Or possibly bad for the outlook on Stackhouse.

                    Good thread, Cap'n!

I really dig Snackhouse as a developmental guy but he ain't there yet. Maybe an offseason in the weight room and thousands of reps on techniques will get him there.

See, I thought it was just gonna be "El Blackjack and El Hookers" but no, apparently the magic rectangle says it's "veintiuna y prostitutas".

I initially read that as "The Ho' you know".

                              I'm trying, guys, I'm trying.

Maybe they'll bring back the original Snacks.
