Titans are releasing CB L'Jarius Sneed, which will save Tennessee $11.4 million against the cap, per sources. Titans informed Snead’s agents, the Katz Brothers, of their decision today; Sneed now will become a free agent.

Wherever Sneed goes, it will probably be a low base salary with incentives based on games played. Don't think he'll get a contract like Hobbs got last year.

Boy, maybe the market doesn't think as much of Rasheed Walker as we all do. Surprised he went for so little!

"We all"? I for one never had a very high opinion of Walker - not Rasheed or for that matter, Quay either. He did a mediocre job run blocking and a piss poor job of pass blocking. Thank goodness we've had mobile QBs.

Couple things on my mind:

Trevon Diggs? Haven't heard squat on the Packer front or anywhere else. Maybe the Packers saw enough in the limited time they had him? Just weird. It's obvious Packers need CB depth. He can't be asking for a shit ton of money.

Packers back up QB? If the Malik Willis experiment proved anything, you need a good back up in this league. A 6th rounder no name QB from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College is not going to win you games if and when Love goes down for a spell. I heard rumors of Trey Lance, Justin Fields, and Jimmy Garoppolo, but just rumors. I don't want Jimmy Garoppolo - he's too old. Let's keep with the trend; a younger QB that hasn't panned out and are mobile.

Veteran NT? I think the Packers still need a veteran NT. Hargrave isn't the answer in my opinion. He can do it, but just be cause he can, doesn't mean he should. He's not the type of DT for taking on double teams, he's best suited for one gap and penetrate. Someone like DJ Reader is who the Packers should think about.

It's still early, so maybe the Packers aren't done yet.

If Packers sign no more UFA's for more than 3 million per year, they are expected to receive 2 4th, 1 5th and 1 6th round comp picks in 2027. Plus they will have Dallas' 4th round pick from the Gary trade.

Doubs contract is now being reported (there aren't details at Over the Cap yet so its not been released in full) as 4 years $68 mil or 17 million per year. Definitely a 4th round pick. Playing time probably won't be enough to push that higher unless the incentives somehow count (he could earn up to $80 mil over 4 years if he hits them all).

The Packers need pass rushers too. Hargrave gives them some push. If they need run stoppers those will be the cheap contracts signed late. Base D will be 4 lineman playing gap and a half is what I read as the safeties will be further back.

They will bring in a cheap and or young option for the backup QB. Ridder is the reclamation project this year.

Diggs has serious coverage holes (in anything but man however he guesses too often in man) and I don't know if he projects to be able to play the quarters coverage the Packers will be using on passing downs.

Sweat won't cost any comp picks. No comp picks are juggled or moved with a trade only with a signing of an UFA.

The QB situation: we still have Desmond Ridder who as a Packer I expect to be better than he was with other teams - almost as good as Willis.

Trevon Diggs: he looked damn good to me in the brief time we had him. Unless there's more beneath the surface we don't know about - drugs, crime, lingering injuries, etc., I hope we keep him/get him back/whatever.

Pass rush: Assuming Parsons and Wyatt are back healthy, we are pretty damn loaded, not only against the pass, but now with Hargraves, against the run too.

He didn't beat out Morgan, Morgan had a good camp at LT. Banks and Jenkins were dealing with injuries and they needed someone to man the interior and Walker was a one position player.

That's not what I meant. What I meant was that by GB getting maybe a fifth or sixth for Rasheed Walker instead of the third most people thought they'd get, Guter has much less ammunition to make a trade for Sweat. Thinking you've got two third-rounders next year in the draft makes parting with a third a whole lot more palatable.

And too many flags early in the season. But I'm surprised no one offered him more. I bet we could have gotten a 2nd for him in camp last year and let Morgan develop. It made the most sense then and even more now.

The rumor is an Anthony Richardson trade. It fits the Malik mold. A super green athletic QB that needed time, and now that he has some time in his current team is done with him because he wasn't Lamaar on day one. He didn't play last year so we have no idea if he improved at all, but again, the mold is the same.

Yea. Gutes is really adamant that Morgan be able to play multiple positions so he wastes his first round pick instead of moving around the 7th. He is bad at his job of GM.
