I would think the first four guys on that list have a reasonable chance of making the squad. The competition for backup spots on the offensive line is going to be intense. And Sturdivant, if he can show he can play ST well, might be the team's sixth receiver. Don't know if Brenton Cox or Aaron Mosby are sweating Kelly's arrival."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

They must think Kelly is pretty good, as the Packers have a lot of quality and quantity at Edge already.
I think (more like hope) Maryland is kept as a TE or hybrid. I also hope Sturdevant makes it. And Drones should be the third QB/probably practice squad. I also wouldn't be surprised if Jaden Nixon makes it as a kick returner/backup RB.
Beyond that, not much there IMO.What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Or, and I'm just spit balling here, he shouldn't have signed the contract last season if he didn't want to play for that contract. Just sayin' I'd tell him to pound sand and any negotiations will be an extension or he can go ahead and sit, pout, take a knee, or whatever entitled guys who can't stay on the field do now days.Originally posted by pbmax View Post
He could just delay showing up to camp. He's got cards left to play. The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary -- Vince Lombardi

Bombshell: The #Browns are finalizing a trade of Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the #Rams in a shocker, sources tell me, @TomPelissero & @AdamSchefter.
Cleveland would send Garrett to LA in exchange for star edge Jared Verse, a first-rounder, and more.I can't run no more with that lawless crowd

Wow. Verse is good but Garrett is basically one side of your defensive line. Wonder what they thought they were missing?Originally posted by Joemailman View Post

Hearing the Packers and Cardinals are working on a trade involving Josh Sweat, per source. It is coming down to how much cap the Packers are willing to take, and how high of a pick.I can't run no more with that lawless crowd

At last: The Eagles are trading star WR AJ Brown to the Patriots, per The Insiders. It’s a 2028 first-round draft pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick going to Philly, as Brown reunites with coach Mike Vrabel. One of the NFL’s longest-running sagas ends with a splash.I can't run no more with that lawless crowd

You are referring to Sweat I assume?Originally posted by texaspackerbacker View PostDon't go more than a fifth rounder, and don't take much of that cap hit. The Packers don't really need him all that much, and the guy has possible injury issues.
What injury issues? I haven't heard that.
I don't think he has missed a game due to injury in five years.

Good to know that the dude ain’t injury-prone. Seems like he wants to be a Packer. Get it done.Originally posted by Patler View Post

Btw, could you or the Mailman switch avatar? The Snoopy avatar is confusing me. I honestly thought the Mailman made the above quote.I don’t want a battle from beginning to end

He's had a knee issue that dates back to a terrible knee injury in high school. He slipped to the 4th round of the NFL draft because of failed physicals. Obviously, he's been able to play through it or fully recovered.Originally posted by Patler View Post
