    Jacobs is great. I'd even say his ability to score a TD from 7-11 yards out might be a yards after contact superpower. But Jones will simply tilt the field position in your favor twice a game in his prime. He will literally absolve the rest of the team's errors and sins by putting you back into scoring position.
    So does our punter. So you're saying Jones is a glorified punter.

      And fumbled as much as both combined too.

        A lot of the great ones fumble. Top 5 running backs fumblers are Tony Dorsett, Franco Harris, Walter Payton, Greg Pruitt and Eric Dickerson.

          I don't recall him catching many passes out of the backfield, but I don't think Sherman used him that way much. If I recall correctly. Which I might not.
          Green was great as a receiver. Lead the team with 73 receptions in 2000, and again in 2001 with 62. Was second to Driver (70) in 2002 with 57 receptions and again in 2003 when Driver had 53 and Green had 50. The next three years he had 105 receptions, but played only 35 games.

            I can see it. Except with the punter, your defense has to come out to play when he is done. Jones lets the offense stay on the field.

                Is that the raw number? Or per carry - as most or all of these guys had a helluva lot of? I don't recall any of those having a "fumbler" reputation, or Ahman Green other for that matter.

                  That was a different era before coaches started preaching ball protection. A lot of the great QBs of yester year threw a mountain of picks as well. Hard to compare. No one compares to the QB who is the all time interception AND fumble leader though.

                      He is the best running back i have seen for the Packers. Number 2 is probably arron Jones, and 3 is Josh jacobs. But that could be recency bias.

                        And so did forget - as I said I might’ve - that he could catch, too.

                          Tom Pelissero
                          @TomPelissero

                          The NFL fined Bears WR Luther Burden III $11,075 for unnecessary roughness — his role in this altercation last week.

                          Only Packers DB Keisean Nixon was flagged; Nixon was not fined.

                              Indeed. NFL won't come out and say refs got it wrong. But this is same as an admission.

                                I think they should give that fine money to Kesean Nixon.
