Indeed, the Packers certainly could have won the game despite these events and injuries. They just did not, and cornerback Nate Hobbs believes it was because God ordained them to lose:
“It felt like tonight, God already chose who was gonna win the game because it was so many things that went their way that just wasn’t normal. It’s like, you gotta live with those, you know what I’m saying? We played our butts off. We controlled most of the game and I feel like God set it up that way. It was already written.”

@JuMosq
Jordan Morgan's true pass blocking snaps (no screens, RPOs, run alerts, play action) at right tackle.
Started off shaky. Got a lot better. Think he was expecting chip help on the sack.

Sherrod's career was derailed by a horrible lower leg fracture.Originally posted by Anti-Polar Bear View PostMorgan almost got Willis killed on the last play of regulation. Morgan fell on his ass and Willis injured his shoulder getting sacked.
Derek Fucking Sherrod all over again. German Shepherd shoulda drafted the “white” corner, Dejean.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Do you just imagine the world as your argument wishes it to be? Packers blitzed at a higher rate all game compared to the rest of the season, or did you miss that graphic too? It was over 40% for the game. Worked fine until the last two drives.Originally posted by texaspackerbacker View PostBrady gets a lot of things wrong. Hafley chose to blitz. I'm not gonna say that was a mistake, but the pass rushers didn't succeed in getting a sack or not very often forcing a throwaway. I hesitate to second guess Hafley, but they sure didn't have anybody helping poor pathetic Nixon on those two crucial TD passes as well as several other plays where our Corners failed.
The Packers were getting pretty good pressure on Williams with that "cage rush" as the commentators called it. They still didn't have the ability to cover, though.
But when the Bears had to pass late, it burned them as the Packers didn't get home.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

What do you expect of us? Look at what the effect neuron loss has had on your arguments.Originally posted by texaspackerbacker View PostFavre woulda got right back in the game, maybe Rodgers too. Steve Young, Aikman, a lot of other QBs have done that. I'm certainly NOT blaming Love, but seeing him walk off the field, I'm confident he coulda and woulda played on. However, it was the stupid hyper-safety crap that gets pushed these days that prevented it. I can't say that safety stupidity cost the Packers the game because Willis came through so well, but who's to say Love wouldn't have done better.
I'll wait for the usual suspects to chime in and defend that safety crap hahahaha.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Sherrod played like shit when he played…just like Moby. Or is it Miller? McCoy?Originally posted by pbmax View PostSherrod's career was derailed by a horrible lower leg fracture.
Drafting offensive Yokozunas in the first round, especially late in the first round is dumber than DK Metcalf trying to fight a Pussy (Lions) fan. Starting caliber Yokozunas can be found in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th rounds.
Dejean was ripe to be drafted. Ditto, Kool-Aid. Ditto, Maxi “The Taxi” Melton. Hell, Ladd McConkey woulda looked good in the Green and Mustard Yellow.
Moby can’t play. Nixon and Valentine are playing. Total fuck up by the German Shepherd, I reckon.I don’t want a battle from beginning to end

Was he supposed to help Doubs with the recovery? The ST unit had executed the play perfectly until Doubs muffed the kick. Doubs is a possession WR. He's your punt returner. He's exactly the guy you want in that situation. He just blew it, as he's admitted.Originally posted by SudsMcBucky View PostAll I have to say is Bitch-saccia must have some real dirt on MLF to still have his job. If this was just a one-off thing, yeah, I'd agree with you. But there seems to be at least 1 costly ST's mistake every single game. It has now become a trend. And yeah, there's a problem with scheme when you have 2 Packers actually blocking 4-5 Bears at the point of the fumble.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostWas he supposed to help Doubs with the recovery? Not a fair comparison. Bostick blew his assignment, Doubs made a flub. Night and day as far as drawing my scorn. I feel for Doubs. Bostick was inexcusable.Originally posted by Teamcheez1 View PostThe Bostick trophy has been gathering dust for many years now.
