      I'd be utterly SHOCKED if Harbaugh doesn't have a new gig shortly. He'll probably wait to see if any better options pop up if someone lets go their HC after flaming out in the 1st round before he makes his decision. He'll NOT be short on options for another gig.

        Though with the grind they have, it would be tempting to become a TV talking head. You make a decent amount of money and you don't have to put in nearly so many hours. Do that for a year or two and see if you still have the itch to coach.

          It makes some sense given the number of years and the trend, but I am none-the-less shocked it happened. Wasn't expecting Harbaugh to get the boot.

            @TomPelissero

            The Giants are scheduled to interview Super Bowl-winning coach Mike McCarthy for their head coaching job Tuesday, per sources.

            McCarthy has a .608 career winning percentage, 12 playoff trips in 18 seasons and a strong QB development background. A logical fit with Jaxson Dart.

              It could ALWAYS BE WORSE. A continuing series. We present this year's example: the Raiders and Tom Brady.

              I cannot emphasize enough that you should follow and read everything Kayln Kahler does. She gets people to talk to her and you get an actual glimpse into what's happening. Its as if Bob McGinn had sources other than scouts complaining about the other departments in the building.

                  Maybe. She is from WI like Kato (Verona originally) but her father and family are huge Bears fans. She posted a story about him pictured on the Soldier Field scoreboard a few weeks ago.

                              He's sort of black so maybe we could get a 3rd round pick for hiring him.

                                The Miami Dolphins are finalizing a deal to hire Green Bay Packers vice president of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan as their general manager, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Friday.

                                Sullivan joined the Dolphins after working for the Packers since 2003, starting as a scouting intern before being hired full time in 2004. He moved up the ranks from college scout to director of college scouting to co-director of player personnel before becoming Green Bay's vice president of player personnel in 2022, working closely with general manager Brian Gutekunst for a team that has reached the playoffs six of the past seven seasons.

                                The first major move for Sullivan in Miami will be to hire a new head coach. Mike McDaniel was fired Thursday after four seasons that included a 7-10 record in 2025. That was the Dolphins' second consecutive losing season after making the playoffs in 2022 and 2023.

                                The Dolphins have been linked to former Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh, though sources told ESPN's Jeff Darlington that Miami had not yet been in touch with John Harbaugh or anyone in his camp as of Thursday.

                                A possible candidate with an existing connection to Sullivan could be Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, who has also received interest from the Cardinals, Falcons and Titans.
