Don't worry, Joe. He'll be back before the end of preseason . . . then get hurt again, then come back for a couple games right at the end of the year, tease us with a couple nice pass rushes, then we do it all over again next season.

Sounds like John Williams is struggling a bit at center. I thought
Bobble liked him as a tackle?

I actually liked him as a guard. I sort of thought he might grab the RG spot last year but then he got hurt. They are training him inside it sounds like. I don't mind the 7th round tackle converting to inside, plus his skills seem good at guard. With Rhyan, Monk, and Burton I'm not sure having him play center (which he has never played to my knowledge) is such a great move. I think you are wasting valuable snaps he needs at guard.

I don't know if Williams had ever played Center before. With Monk out and Burton replacing Banks at LG, I think they were a little short there.
