He was like watching Sterling Sharpe or Davante Adams. Strong, a man amongst boys. But then he'd disappear for games at a time, and you'd wonder why the hell they weren't getting him the ball. And then there were the drops from two seasons ago. An exciting guy who, if he can be consistent and play like he did in the Detroit game, looks like a super star. But then, if he can't he's just another guy.

Guess we'll see for sure this year, though I don't think having Jalen Hurts as your QB is going to help your cause.
He was good versus man coverage (especially since he was not WR 1 or 2 and got 3rd option coverage guys) and got lost against anyone else.

My hope was that this guy could become a viable guy outside and relive the pressure in the slot. But Golden has to do that now.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

It was a good move from an organizational standpoint. You get back more than what it cost to draft him in the first place, he had his moments here but was not consistent, and you don't have him walk away after this season for little or nothing.

I think that while we all understand Golden will need to step in and step up, I also think Savion Williams could be a key to the Packers this season and beyond. If he develops, he'd be a big addition. Huge. He takes pressure off Golden and others, he takes pressure off Guter after this coming season, and he re-sets the WR room. If he continues to be wildly inconsistent and/or injured, he's another wasted third-round pick.

I just don't see it yet in Savion. I always root for the upside to deliver but I haven't seen it. He seems miscast as the gadget guy when he was mostly a receiver in college. Its not working out so far.

Not a shock. As Fritz said, he flashed and then would disappear. We got more than he cost when we drafted him. Smart move by Gute.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.
