Ballboy, don't you remember that Indy game last year where the Packers sent everybody and their mother and their mother's brother at Peyton Manning, who then casually picked the secondary apart? I'm all up for aggressive defense but when this team blitzes it seems to get picked up way too often.

Read what I said,,,I'd take my chances.

We have upgraded(how much?) with Woodson, Collins is better and the LB are better.

      Bulger isn't Manning
Holt & Bruce are not Harrison & Wayne...even in their prime.

I just don't have much faith in the blitz schemes. They usually get picked up.

Maybe KGB should look at some old Reggie film. Now, that man had moves!

Lol I never remember any moves save for the "I dont care how big you are I can throw you with one arm!" and the "see this arm? I use it like Og used a tree branch to kill piggies!"
Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

Still scratching my head about why we appeared to be blitzing frequently on first down and sitting back in quarters on third and long. And on at least one occasion, on third and long, Kampman was downfield chasing a receiver. With no obvious blitz taking place.

Again, it seems to come down to coaching. This is one of the least cohesive defensive units I've ever seen. Each guy seems to be doing his own thing out there.

very true Tony. He was a powerful guy. Especially late in his career, he was a pure bullrusher, but there seemed to be little that opponents could do against it. You would occasionally see him use a swim move, but that's it.

Man, some of those tackles must've had ringing ears after games...I wonder how many concussions he actually gave people with that club?

As far as spelling KGB, people have been talking about that for the pas 2 1/2 seasons - but either the coaches aren't willing, or they don't feel the alternatives are capable enough. We're damn lucky neither him or Kamp have gotten hurt (*Guiness crosses himself) these past few years, with the reps they're playing.

I thought Montgomry would be the guy to do it this year. He saw some of the field this week - anyone know approx how many snaps?

BTW who said Kampman disappeared this week? He had three solo tackles (and three assists) plus a sack. A lot of teams would kill for a guy who disappears like that each week!

                    What constitutes a 'move'?
