  • ONE DRIVE, ONE GAME........MANNING, BRADY, OR FAVRE ??

You are the head coach and you can choose from the three QB's mentioned above in the two below scenarios.

    A.
You are down by 6 with 3 minutes left and need to drive for the winning TD. Your QB ?

    B.
You win and you are in the playoffs; you lose and you are out. Your QB ?

Please list all three QB's in your preferential order in the two above scenarios.

HERE IS MY STAB AT THIS ON FIRST THOUGHT

    ONE DRIVE

    1. Brady
    2. Manning
    3. Favre

If I'm the coach and we need one drive to win the game, I want guys who can make a play obviously. But I also want a smart QB who minimizes turnovers and is pretty smart on the field. In my eyes that puts Favre at the #3 spot. Being left with Brady or Manning, I'm going with the proven winner who has shown he gets the job done and makes everybody around him better.

    ONE GAME

    1. Brady
    2. Favre
    3. Manning

Over the course of a game, I'd put more weight on a guy who might turn nothing into something. Over the full game some of the positives of what Brett Favre can do might outweight the ill advised throw. So I might give more weight to a playmaker in this situation; still want a proven winner. For one game I put Payton Manning at #3.

Then I'm left between Favre and Brady. And it's a toss up here. But in the end of I'm the coach I put a little more value in consistency than I do the ability to create something out of nothing. So I give Brady the slight nod with Favre a VERY close second.

I'd take Brady, Favre, Manning on both. Strange that as great as Manning has been he hasn't really won a lot of big games (well, playoff games anyways; this year they are winning in spite of him) or had a lot of dramatic late come-from-behind victories.

          One Drive
          1. Manning
          2. Brady
          3. Favre

Nobody in todays league is better in the two-minute drill. With this said i'd like to make a note about the supporting class. Give all three of these Quarterback's a prowbowl supporting cast and i'd give the go ahead to favre, for his willingness not to lose.

          One Game
          1. Favre
          2. Brady
          3. Manning

Nobody has a winning attitude in this league like Favre, I don't believe anyone ever will. Sometimes after watching Brady I feel like he could have left more on the field, Manning I catch a little bit of this from, but he's no where near as bad. Favre on the other hand would die on the field for his team to pick up the W. Only reason Manning is ranked lower than Brady here is because he can't win the big games.

on what team is the real question? are all three on the packers, colts, or patriots.. cuz outta the 3, Favre is still the best QB out of all them even though he doesnt have the overall team and coaching that those 2 have had thru the first part of their careers

let's assume they are all in their prime.

Same talent and you are the coach.

                  Well in that case,
                  Favre
                  Brady
                  Manning

                  For both.

Well, I'd have to take Favre then....then Brady then Manning.

One drive, one game - no matter. Here's my pick:

Favre (the Master of making something out of nothing)
Brady (the Master of taking what the defense gives)
Manning (the Master of the long ball to a WR that gets free)
"It's mind over matter... if you don't mind, it don't matter." - #4, Brett Favre

                          Favre
                          Brady
                          Manning

Favre & Brady also get extra points because they never had dual weapons like Harrison & Wayne, either.

                              QB

This question really comes down to Brady and Favre for one simple factual reason. Brady and Favre have proven that they can do more with less. Manning has always played on talented offenses. Now comparing them in their prime, Brett gets a huge edge cause he can make throws the other 2 can't. However #04 is more prone to throwing a pick than Brady.

                              Brady
                              Favre
                              Manning
