Guys that I generally like or that I like higher than they are rated:

      QB Drew Stanton
RB Antonio Pittman, Brandon Jackson, Marshawn Lynch (now that he's dropping)
      FB Brian Leonard
WR Robert Meachem, Sidney Rice, Paul Williams (I'll go with Mad on this one)
TE Zach Miller (supposed to be faster than he timed), Ben Patrick
      OL Joe Staley, Doug Datish
      DE Adam Carriker, Tim Crowder
      DT Quinn Pitcock
      LB Patrick Willis, Lawrence Timmons
CB Marcus McCauley, Eric Wright, Courtney Brown (athleticism is worth taking a chance on late)
S Michael Griffin, Eric Weddle, Craig Dahl

Thought I'd take this a little different and throw some late round maybe FA types out there.

Allen Barbre OT Missouri Southern State- Good athlete could also play guard great for ZBS. Ran 4.84 40 at 6'4" 300 http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sco...lenbarbre.html

Michael Allen TE Whitworth- Productive small school guy perfect for TT. Second fastest TE 40 at the combine w/4.71. 6'6" 255. Had over 1000 yds receiving last year. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sco...haelallan.html

Matt Trannon WR Michigan St- Former basketballer probably projects better as a TE in the NFL with some weight gain. Ran 4.54 40 at 6'6" 216

Daren Stone S Maine- Big for a safety at 6'3" ran 4.6 40. Intresting prospect at least.

Le'Ron McClain FB Alabama- One of the top 3 FB's this year but still would be there in the late rounds. 6'0" 256 with great hands would make him worth looking at.

I'm quite certain someone will, and it could be higher than the 7th. If someone has multiple picks in a round on the second day and doesn't feel anyone left on the board merits that high of a pick, Samardzija could go anytime on the second day.

I don't know enough about most of these guys but I really like:

Patrick Willis *if there is one guy that I hope drops but I know won't, it's him*
Marshawn Lynch *Big time need, big time player*
              Reggie Nelson *Playmaker*

Those are guys that I think we might have a chance at.

Conversly; I can't stand Branch, Carriker or Hall. I really hope those 3 go before we pick so it pushes some real football players down to us.

What don't you like about Carriker?

Speaking of DE, I would love to pick-up Anthony Spencer out of Purdue.

I have a major problem with tall DE's who rely on power more than speed. It takes a rare player to beable to dominate with power at that height. The ones who do it are great but so many fail for every one who succeeds.

I don't think he'll beable to get enough leverage to be really good in the NFL.

Seems like you're reaching. Michael Strahan is a tall DE that relies on power, and he's been pretty damn good. Same with Reggie White and Ed "Too Tall" Jones. The guy rated just ahead of him, Jamaal Anderson, is over 6'5"--and Mario Williams is a 6'7" power DE. He could be too tall or he could just be the total package. Personally, I don't like one-dimensional DEs (e.g. speed rushers), so I'd rather take a chance on a guy that I think can be a four down player. Sure, there are busts with tall DL--when they don't have a good knee-bend. Some guys are just players though. The knock on Hawk last year was that he was only 6'1", but I hardly think height was a detriment to him.

Carriker is a hard guy to read. He could be the next Aaron Kampman or he could be the next Jamaal Reynolds, it's tough to say. If I had to choose, I'd say he'll be more similar to the former.
