Harris had a complete workout at the Combine, running his two 40s in 4.80 and 4.82 seconds. He also recorded a 32-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot-4 long jump and 21 bench presses. He played tight end and defensive end in high school. He also played basketball and competed in track. He redshirted in 2002 and started 35 games from 2004-06.
